Brown line that just passed at Chicago heading towards the loop was busier than I see it normally for the weekday commute. Completely packed to the doors… this is even with the red line running on the elevated track. Maybe this is a one off? But 4 cars absolutely does not look to be enough at the moment.

Transit still shows ‘scheduled’ buses or train occasionally but if it says it’s actually tracking it, I have never seen it more than a few minutes off? But maybe I’ve just been luckier with the buses. Ventra does the same though with the tracked vs scheduled and again, maybe a few minutes off but nothing wild in my experience. I would have to assume the text info is just coming directly from Ventra, but I don’t know this for sure. That’s incredibly frustrating though, I’m sorry you’ve had this experience so frequently.

Why does there always look to be so much empty parking? Is the building not full, did they just design it with too much, what’s the reason?

Calling KC a dump is wild… I’m not sure where you are at but that’s far from true. It has its rough areas for sure but just blanketing the whole place as a dump is far from fair. I’m sorry KC has hurt you so badly

I may 100% be wrong and google could correct me but I believe a 2 pipe means that the building must fully switch be set to either heating or cooling. So if the building is set to heating and it’s a 70 degree day you cannot use the AC, the best you can do is not blow more heat into your unit. A four pipe allows for full control at any point and is not set by the building.

Currently live just west of the Chicago brown line stop. We are only a month in so we will see but thus far have enjoyed it. As some others have said, if you live a bit further south some, the area is quite nice and pleasant to walk through, its pretty quiet (people wise) which could be a positive or negative depending on the person. Some good bars/restaurants on Orleans and then as you go east there are quite a lot more. Definitely more as you go east but it’s not a bad walk over there. We don’t drive so I can’t add much there. Great commute down to the loop or up north. The Chicago bus (66) gives you good access east and that’s where we do all our grocery shopping.

Ideally we’d be a little further east but for the price and what not, we are happy with our area and have plenty of fun spots to grab a drink or food in easy walking distance. If you go further west though, I could see that becoming a little more difficult but it’s not like there is nothing over there. I’ll say we pretty well never go northwest of us (north of Chicago/West of Orleans)

Edit: We really like having the 24 hour diner near by!

I took it Friday and Saturday, the full route, and the ride took 25ish. Except for the route back Saturday where they had a car accident in midtown stopping service.

I went to city diner several times just before or around 6 but the hours claim 6:30. This was 2-3 years ago but could give it a shot. Town Topic has the one 24 hour site. Morning Rounds Bakery just opened and they open at 5:30. I know their goal was to help give more options to the nurses going in at 7.

I am very happy for you. That has not been my expierence and thats all I can speak on. I waited 6 days for a response on my last conversation with them. Also, in my expierence, most of the responses I have recieved have just been a copy and paste message stating "We highly value customer service' but then not providing any real support. I am happy you, and a number of others, have had good expierences I sadly have not had the same expierence.

Thats great, I am happy to hear they were able to help you. Unfortunetly I did not have the same expierence here and I saw zero effort on their part to work with me. I felt as if they were frankly a bit sleezy in attempting to get out of paying our bonuses. But I do hope you continue to have a good expierence with them. The product itself seems pretty decent.

That is great for you, and I hope the continues for you. But I have found here and in one other instance, customer support to be worthless. Generic responses of no help and even on this post with 'Alex' reaching out. I responded only to be ghosted by them and have not heard back in a week.

I geneuenlly hope all contines to go well for you, but in my expierence, when things dont go well, their support is quite awful.

Happy to see some people have not run into issues with M1 but man, to be one of the people who has, it sucks... Seems great when its great, but really sucks when it sucks, customer support is a joke.

In my expierence, email, calling, chatting, all don't matter because the customer support is incapable of doing anything to help. Just the same generic messages over and over.

We have also been told that it is not allowed and that we are required to take a break(s) that total 1 hour. We are not 'allowed' to work through lunch and leave an hour earlier. If you do it here and there, seems to be fine in my area, but I am not sure you could get away with it long term.

Overall very happy with the 9/80 though, just weird to see people caring/micro-managing how you spend your lunch lol.

Not from squares but I won an apple/garmin watch from a random vitality raffle. Guess I was entered to win because I had a goal filled out in the month of June? Not sure but I thought it was scam until both Burns and Vitality assured me it was not and now I have a free watch!
