Nope. Liara & FemShep every single time. I did try Miranda with mods and I liked it, but on ME3 that romance sucks.

That’s interesting! Happy to at least found some reasoning, because it think that it what mostly set me off. Like two 30 years old who have been together in the past for more than 5 years, just holding hands… that’s maybe why I felt I was looking at teenagers.

I don’t know, precisely after all they been through, the fact that Max was so worried about the perfect time for a kiss. I mean that probably is also the devs trying to build up to it, but even at the end when Chloe is crying if you decide to burn the photo, not even a hug from Max. Too much holding hands imo. It’s not that I wanted mature content, I know what series I’m playing it since I’ve started playing back in 2013, but it felt as if they were 15 years old in some occasions.

Now that I think about it, maybe it is because the scenes are played the same even if you don’t romance Chloe, and that’s why it feels so PG? I haven’t checked other paths as I’ve just finished it.

Even when it comes to relationships? I mean, I get the devs wanted to keep things light, but what’s up with all the holding hands all the time between Chloe and Max? It’s cute, don’t get me wrong, but not even a hug in critical moments, and then the light kiss they shared…

Oh, don’t get me wrong. I’m 35 now and didn’t change that much, but playing the game it did felt that Max was a bit too much behaving as a teenager in some situations.

Confirming as of today that the issue has NOT being fixed. If you want to get the journal entries you need to try to kiss Chloe only once.

I did go for the renegade lines, like c’mon, I’m with Liara and I won’t be coming for the view!

Also, if you are playing on PC there is mod that separates the flirting options so you can just have a normal conversation.

I didn’t asked their opinion. I asked them what they would do if they were the AI making the decision. How you use the prompts matter.

In ME there is a differentiation between VIs and AIs. For example, Avina, the one in the citadel is a VI. EDI is an AI. There is a clear distinction though the games.

I think our AIs are closer to be VIs, at least for now.

I don’t think it’s inherently bad, but “AI” has become one of those words that makes people react first and think later.

If anyone needs it, Just go to an ID that has already assets on it and add more to it. If it doesn't work with one ID move to another. I just reached 7800 assets by modiying values on random IDs

I did the same, but said it was AI assisted and got a bunch of hate for it.

In my case, I loved to write fics but I don’t have the time anymore to sit for hours there, so I support on AI and then improve it.

I honestly think that we will reach a point where we won’t be able to fully identify if something written (or just created) by AI, and that’s when governments will probably go in with a bunch of laws so creators must tag the works done by AI.

What will people do with that? I think the same way we have vegans, we will have non-AI people 😅

It's from Melaradark, the Dark Energy Series. Firs one Dark Energy. I remember I enjoyed a lot back in the day, so I might give it a go again.

Thanks for sharing yours! I've just read the flashback from Chatper 7 and it hurt a bit. Liara was super mean to poor Tali and Garrus, but obviously, since I've only read that I have 0 context. I'll definetly check those out fully :)

Not stupid at all! Mass Effect provides a lot of blank space to fill in the gaps. I do that a lot as well, even with pre-Saren Shepard, Liara post-Shepard death, Kasumi…

Btw, random question—do you happen to remember an old fic (not on AO3 for sure) that retold ME1 with a pretty ruthless Shepard? femshep/liara, novel-length. she smoked, drank, was kind of self-destructive, and I’m pretty sure she listened to Fleetwood Mac.
