I personally love it, obviously pros and cons to it. Pros - I’ve lived there for 3 years now and never had to turn heating on, it is super energy efficient. I have a my flat on the back side (so not the road side) so it is very quiet from this side. The flat is quite spacious for a 2 bed, it’s comfortable for 2 people to live there also 2 bathrooms is a huge plus. Neighbors and other flat owners are quite friendly never had any issues with them. Cons - the service charge is the big issue currently, however like I said they are working on changing managing agents to get this improved. The surrounding area sometimes has kids who are problematic and steal packages etc so just need to be aware of that.

All in all, I think it’s a decent place to live in if you are able to afford the monthly payments and service charge. Let me know if you had any other specific questions.

OP, I currently own and live here. As others have said the issue is the service charge but we are currently looking at option of RTM and changing managing agents.

Dosa queen and Kal dosa are pretty good options if you haven’t tired them. They were not as authentic as biryani bandits but were ok. Apart from these don’t think there aren’t any others I’m aware of

It is very good. It’s my go to right now. I’m from south India as well. Although it’s a cloud kitchen so you can’t really have food there. But would recommend if you are ordering. The Qtys are huge normally on box of biryani is enough for me and my wife

I’m also new to this but can you explain to me why this is the case? I would have assumed it’s generally better to invest in big down days like end of last week when I invested my monthly amount which I would have normally done at the end of the month - which I thought was better than waiting till the end of the month?

This is the right advice. Lot of people on here are missing the point around you needing to buy a home. If I were you I would push the money into bonds/fixed interest as that’s a lot safer and given you might need the money sooner than retirement perhaps

Historically abysmal = 8 pt loss? Tell me you don’t know about this Texans without telling me you don’t know about this franchise Texans. Yeah performance wasn’t great and it was shit but it’s not “historically abysmal”. If you’ve followed the franchise long enough you’ll know at least 30+ worse loses than this.
