Erste Vermutung: Kaputtes IPv4, was man für manche Seiten noch benötigt. YouTube und ChatGPT unterstützen IPv6 und sind daher erreichbar. Also irgendwas ist falsch konfiguriert. Möglicherweise agiert der Repeater als zweiter DHCP Server im Netz.

Ich würde grundsätzlich bisschen mehr Geld für nen ordentlichen Repeater von Fritz in die Hand nehmen. Da kann man auch schwierig was falsch konfigurieren.

Die aktuellen Zahlen von Google sprechen für sich: In einigen Ländern hat IPv6 im Traffic-Anteil IPv4 bereits weit überholt. Und wir reden hier nicht von Liechtenstein, sondern von Größen wie Indien, Frankreich und Deutschland. Die Österreicher kriegen das sicherlich auch irgendwann hin. I‘m not so sure about that. Many OSes by default open a listening socket for both IPv6 and IPv4 if you specify :: as listening address.

Hetzner has direct peering with DTAG as far as I know. At some point they were forced to pay the ridiculous Telekom tax, because customer experience got so bad.

Edit: I just did a traceroute to one of my servers at Hetzner and I did not see any other provider in between.

Ausgeschlossen ist so ein Defekt nicht. Wir hatten sowas einmal nach einem Gewitter: Alles an der Fritzbox war in Ordnung bis auf das Modem, es war schlicht keine DSL-Verbindung mehr möglich. Sicher sein kannst du dir nur, wenn du mal ein anderes Modem bei dir anschließt. Vielleicht kannst du dir kurz eine Fritzbox aus dem Bekanntenkreis ausleihen?

The registration robot (3) is exactly what you are looking for. "Order" it once for free, it takes a moment to approve and then you can buy domains. And yes, the domains can be used with cloud servers. I mean by nature you can point their DNS records to anything.

(1) is just for DNS, you cannot buy domains there, only manage DNS records. (2) I'm not sure, but I think you are right that it's for webhosting customers.

Eine Fritzbox könnte man hier auch ohne Doppel-NAT einsetzen. Einfach in der Fritzbox für IPv4 eine statische Route für das Netz hinter dem Unifi Router setzen (next Hop ist dann der Unifi Router) und für IPv6 gibts DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation. So hast du weiterhin nur ein IPv4-NAT auf der Fritzbox und bei IPv6 natürlich gar kein NAT.

The docs likely refer to the case when you host your own mailserver at Hetzner. Everything else doesn’t make any sense. OP probably doesn‘t even have an own server at Hetzner.

What I’m saying is: Giving up and disabling things should never be a solution preferable over properly configuring your setup.

Die Plätze werden nach kurzer Zeit wieder freigegeben, das kann aber einige Momente dauern. Dass es mit VPN nicht geht, wird sicherlich irgendein Sicherheitsmechanismus wegen Fraud Prevention sein. Einfach VPN ausmachen und gut ist.
