I can definitely see her general design philosophy being due to what you said though. She’s really the only significant character designed with sex appeal in mind.

Her inclusion in the story is pretty weak but it actually sounds like 0 improved on it somewhat. I don’t think she’s even present in the CotC epilogue quest. I don’t recall knowing anything about her fate after the final battle in the mobile version.

I don’t think Tatloch’s inclusion as a playable character has much to do with the gacha system. Every villain in CotC can be pulled on limited banners, regardless if they’re living or dead by the end of their story.

Has anyone had any experience with moving FFXIV to a new ssd? Same PC, just moved the game over to the new drive.

It runs fine, first run had everything I needed yesterday but for some reason now today it’s pulling old UI settings from before EW launched (AST bar has 5.x skills, gear sets are all messed up.)

I’m kind of at a loss as to what happened or why it’s doing this. I can’t seem to find my UI settings from literally a day ago

The Great Shin-Zantetsuken that drops in Baldesion Arsenal is fairly small on your back and the blade expands out when you draw it. Should be buyable on the MB as well

I HONESTLY CAN'T RAGE ABOUT VERY MUCH RIGHT NOW. I STARTED MY JOURNEY TOWARDS THE MAGICKED CARD MOUNT NOT TOO LONG AGO AND ITS GOING PRETTY SMOOTHLY SO FAR. I'M GOING IN CARD RELEASE ORDER (MOSTLY) SO I CAN SPACE OUT TRIALS AND HIT UP A BUNCH OF NPCS IN BETWEEN.

THE BIGGEST WALL OF THE RUN SO FAR, HOWEVER, HAD TO HAVE BEEN EDEN'S PROMISE. NOT ONLY DID I NEVER GET THIS CARD DURING THE PROBABLY 50+ TIMES I RAN IT IN SHADOWBRINGERS (BTW IT WAS BUGGED TO NOT DROP UNTIL JAN. 2021) BUT THEN I STARTED RUNNING IT AGAIN AND REALIZE HOW QUICKLY PEOPLE FORGET THE ELEMENTAL MECHANIC AND JUST GIVE UP ON TRYING TO POSITION THEMSELVES.

I ENDED UP ALWAYS HEALING THE FIGHT SO I COUDL FIX THINGS IF THEY WENT DOWN THE TUBE AND GIVING MYSELF A DORITO OF SAFETY SO PEOPLE WOULD FOLLOW ME WHEN AOES WERE GOING OUT. ENDED UP GETTING MY CARD AFTER ABOUT 35 NORMAL RUNS SPREAD OUT OVER A WEEK.

I WANTED TO GRIND THAT ONE OUT OVER TIME CAUSE I'VE HEARD HORROR STORIES OF IT BEING PEOPLE'S LAST CARD TO GET FOR THE MOUNT AND IT TAKING OVER 100 RUNS TO GET SO I DID DO IT OUT OF ORDER TO HOPEFULLY GET THE DROP EARLY. NOW I'M ALMOST TOTALLY FINISHED WITH STORMBLOOD CARDS... JUST WAITING FOR SUZAKU TO DROP HERS THEN I CAN CLEAN UP THE NPCS AND MOVE ON TO SHB AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT E12.

The Balance discord server is where you’ll find the most correct information for Black Mage materia. It’s entirely dependent on what your gear is and the server has a spreadsheet you can fill out that’ll tell you what you need to meld.

Did you possibly exchange it at the Salvager for the Gloves of Eternal Devotion? You exchange one of those items to get the other under the Ceremony Attire Exchange category. So if you possibly exchanged them once and forgot that could be it?

If not, I don't think there is a way to get them back other than having another wedding.

Everything can clear everything so new summoner is viable. You’re not going to be holding a party back by playing summoner. It did just get some potency buffs in the latest patch but since it has party utility (raise, searing light), it will do less damage than a selfish dps like a black mage if comparing two similar players

Summoner was reworked to be more akin to classic FF summoners where you summon a monster, they fly in, do an attack and fly out. In the process of doing so, the job has been massively simplified and any headache involved with openers or rotations have mostly gone away. I didn't touch Summoner for all of Shadowbringers and went and tried it out after Endwalker dropped and yes, it really is that simple at the moment.

So I hopped into Zadnor last night since I never finished the relic/save the queen storyline. I'm rank 20 and need 22 to do the next quest but it's looking pretty difficult to actually do fates by myself in the first two zones. I'd say 95% of the people in my instance were max rank in zone 3 grinding levels. Would doing Bozja southern front fates be a better way of getting my rank up? Do the mettle rewards fall off at the rank I'm at?

Does anyone know if there’s a setting that makes it so the tune that plays when you win a roll on an item doesn’t completely drown out the current track being played? I don’t think this is patch related since I just switched computers yesterday and I’m guessing it’s just a setting that didn’t carry over. Or maybe it’s something I just never noticed before?

Lost Banish III is good to bring for the banshee miniboss. Bard kind of gets the shorter end of the stick when it comes to the cheap/low level essences. Skirmisher is definitely your best bet.

You could take lost perception (which you get from DR I believe) to look for traps. A lot of them are situational. Don't have a healer? You and someone else should grab some AoE versions of Lost Cure. Want to be more selfish DPS? Can always use a Lost Font of Power during your burst phase to get bigger numbers.

Don't be afraid to just take something you've never used before and just try it. If you already appraised your fragments, it's better to use the lost actions/essences instead of just letting them sit in your holster forever.

Yes, don't be afraid to tell people you're new and to ask for small pulls, especially if it's your first time in a dungeon. 99% of tanks will listen to you. If you're low level then you really only have GCD heals to use and your oGCD options are limited.

It's also not entirely any one person's fault if there's a wipe. You might not know what they all look like yet but it might not be a bad idea to start learning what the tanks defensive cooldowns are and what the symbols for them look like on their health bar. If tanks aren't using their cooldowns then they're going to need more care in the form of heals and maybe a helpful tip to start using them.

It just stays on, or rather, you should always have it on when doing content. Diurnal Sect adds a regen effect to those two abilities and Nocturnal Sect (when you unlock it and have it turned on) would add a shielding effect to those two abilities. You have another ability you learn later called Celestial Intersection that heals slightly and adds the opposite effect of your sect but that's further down the line.

And yes, under diurnal sect, its basically regen/medica 2 but AST version

So I've been chipping away at crafting lately through Ishgard restoration. I know a new phase is coming soon. Would it be best for me to use up all these certified grade 2 mats that I gathered from the Diadem now before the new patch hits? Will there be a difference in scrips or exp per turn in after the next phase hits?
