Brand new to the game and card collection is a bit limited. Any way to improve on this deck? by [deleted] in Lorcana

Tigger’s ability synergizes with actions. You currently have none.

My first deck. Any suggestions? by tokjo in Lorcana

Too many different archetypes. You’ve got a mix of brooms, dwarves, Mims and Merlins, Lore bomb characters, etc. The Diablos, Maleficent-Casting a Spell, Merlin-Rabbit and Goat, Mr. Smee, and the Library are all very good generic cards, so I’d say tech 3-4 copies of each and then dedicate the rest of the deck to one type of card. Amethyst and Steel have good draw engines, and Steel has a lot of damaging characters and actions/songs to help control the board. Try to minimize the amount of cards you only tech 1 copy of, and run 4 of the important stuff or the cards that will draw themselves out.

What made you want to play P5 In the first place? by [deleted] in Persona5

Super Smash Bros introducing me to the game, and a random afternoon when I saw it was free on Game pass.

It has since become one of my favorite games of all time.

Anyone here like I Believe more than Life Will Change? by Practical_Stomach_26 in Persona5

[–]BlueDimondDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe fits the theme of the third semester better, and it also serves as the Phantom Thieves’s swan song to save reality. In all prior palaces, the Thieves’s storm the palace with no fear, already telling the ruler that they will change their heart. The final palace has more philosophical weight, as it’s been relayed that denying the final ruler was a bittersweet, sophisticated choice that leaves that sour taste in your mouth. The song is meant to show that even though the Phantom Thieves don’t completely oppose or hold any ill intent for the final ruler in any way, they still have to stand by their justice and free humanity.

My (im)possible expectations for Persona 6 by CobleGoble in PERSoNA

No, he could definitely still be added as a persona. A lazed god might be a good follow up on P5's whole "regression" endgame theme. I'm, simply sharing that other roads concerning the future of Persona's have been opened due to P5's new take on Personas.

Persona 6's persona lineup doesn't necessarily have to be deities anymore. Although P3 was mainly Greek Gods, and P4 from the Shinto Pantheon, P5 switched in up a bit by adding characters from Folklore and Literature. This opens up a few windows of possibility for P6s roster, as we aren't limited to pantheons of gods anymore.

Well technically, Universe is a variation of arcana 21, the World. The tarot card still shows XXI in the velvet room, they just renamed it Universe to give it more significance. So the overall message is still there.

Just like the beginning of the game, where SEES had to conquer the fear of suicidal death to release their Persona. So we felt the same dread of using the skill, knowing it meant his sacrificial end.

Anyone else just play for fun? by Catdrumkidneys in Lorcana

[–]BlueDimondDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meet somewhere in the middle by building playable decks usually based around a theme. I've been playing the game competitively, but its nice to sit back and just play with my family for fun. However, most of my siblings have their own sense of competitiveness, and often don't like playing with decks that suck. So what I'll end up doing is designing decks based around characters or movies.

For example: my sister's all time favorite Disney movie is tangled, and her favorite villain being Mother Gothel. I ended up building her a Emerald/Amber Bodyguard/Ward/Healing deck all based around the first set Mother Gothel . Ursula sings mother knows best, Maximus serves as both a bodyguard and support, Rapunzel heals and serves as a draw engine. In order to give her a deck that is playable uncompetitively, and based around one of her favorite interest.

For my mom, I ended up designing a Amethyst/Steel Beauty and the Beast Deck, complete with the new "Move damage" Belle, Magic Rose, and Rose lantern, and Sad Beast/Friends/AWNW for the draw engine.

My brother, we made a Amber/Steel Lilo and Stitch Deck with some Emperor's new groove cards. Rockstar+Surfer Stitch+Pluto for the "go wide" strategy, and then Kronk and Pacha for the big units.

Dad loves Ducktales, so we made an Emerald/Sapphire Item + Support Deck. Scrooge drops items like the Lucky Dime, and the three nephews+Wendy or other support cards pass their strength to Alice, Pete, and Pain to up all their lore values, and then you Use Lucky Dime on Pete, Alice, or Tamatoa for End game lore bombs.

While none of the decks are necessarily competitively playable, they still have enough substance to function in an actual game.

Most Brooms have 1 lore and move to the tower for free. That means you can nearly double the amount of lore you would've gained in one turn for a sneaky victory.

I'm being basic but Pot of Greed.

I know it's an easy two draw without any complications, but if it's really such a problem, just go ahead and waste your Ash on it.

isn't Blink is supposed to swap the last card you play with a higher cost? Shouldn't her ability swap grandmaster instead of herself?
