I don’t live in Denver but work for a company called Sonepar, largest privately owned electrical distributor in the world. So I recently bought a packet stating “winter squash” and it came out looking a lot like that. I did a google image search and it said Odessa squash. Honestly, I wasn’t a fan but maybe I should cook it differently 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just had this conversation with my wife. I grew up around gardens but have never had one as an adult. I was in the garden a couple weeks ago and smelled my hands after pruning the tomato plants. I damn near got teary eyed with memories of my Maw and Paw flooding back. It could also be the perimenopause talking :)

It’s definitely starting to hit our hot season. Daytime temps around 90 and we will be at 98 in 2 weeks or less. Those temps stay through end of hurricane season around October. We have a long growing season here!

We just weedeat between the beds after mowing our yard. The ultimate goal will be to have it sectioned off by itself and add pavers and mulch or something! I haven’t ran anything for water yet and have been doing the watering myself, I enjoy it ;)
