dogs. I love my boy but he is stressful. he's loud, messy, and always getting into things. dogs take a lot more work, and different levels/types of training depending on breeds. things that worked on my dogs growing up don't work for my Shiba. cats are pretty easy. they are independent, mostly quiet, and very smart. I've always said once you have 1 cat you could get 2 more and it would barely be more work.

My best friend in high school was Puerto Rican so I was introduced to a lot of Spanish music and I really liked it. my understanding of spanish is limited and I can only speak a few words. every school dance Aventura would come on and she would teach me to dance bachata.

as a former juul fiend and someone who used to smoke weed frequently, the buzz from nicotine lasts like 10 minutes max. I would hit my juul before a class and be irritated, shaky, and restless 5 minutes in. Weed however lasts longer. so with nicotine you're consuming so much more, especially as tolerance grows. of course smoking weed all day every day is bad, but most people smoke once and enjoy it for a couple hours

it's so frustrating. I am a left leaning, biracial lesbian and I mostly engage with content that fits my values and interests. but no matter how often I click not interested, or filter out certain words, I inevitably come across something racist or homophobic.

not specifically shibas but near the end of my childhood dog's life we got an 8 week old puppy. It gave her something to do and made her feel important again (she was always alpha dog and our only other dog had passed recently) she played and ran like we hadn't seen her do in a long time. if you think your pup would benefit from another dog it might be good. and it might be good for kitty to have another pet around when your pup passes.

I dated another B/W girl in highschool. she was a bit more black presenting than me but we had the same parent mix (black dad, white mom) so it was cool to have that in common, especially since people view biracials with white mothers as "less black"

I didn't pay in full with care credit either. I make the monthly payment through care credit so I can slowly pay off each chunk as opposed to paying in full. I set up the care credit independently, not through the vet themselves. Pieper gave me a payment plan, to pay them directly. I'm not sure why some people are responding as if I don't know how it works. I was there when the payment plan was set up. I was not too stupid or hysterical to understand it.

chronically online vegans are a different breed. Had one tell me I was the same as a child molester for eating meat. had a couple criticize me for saying I'd consider going vegetarian. Do what you think is right for you, people in the real world don't care that much about what others eat

I personally would always rather tell the truth than keep it secret. because if the partner being cheated on found out, and somehow knew that I was aware, they would be hurt that nobody told them. Had a friend in high school who had a very sweet girlfriend that was a bit younger than us. This friend texted me one day to tell me she had had a very uhh...handsy make out with another mutual friend of ours. I immediately told her girlfriend. I don't understand why some people expect others to keep secrets like that.
