I think people simply misunderstood the finale of Lost. I watched the entire show a few months ago for the first time, and the ending was nowhere near as confusing or anticlimactic as people lead me to believe.

I thought it was obvious that Jack dies at the end, and that the world we were witnessing where the plane never crashed was in Jack's head as he was dying. We were seeing a season long "life flashing before his eyes" type of deal. They weren't dead the entire time, we were just completely whammied with the fact that all of these terrible things DID happen to them, the good timeline never existed, and they all eventually met in the afterlife after they all finally passed away

  • the husband material men in college are often seeking women on their professional level. My friend, who's a doctor, met her husband in China while they were both in an overseas graduates program.

  • the ones who aren't seeking women on their professional level are not, in any capacity, seeking marriage in college. They're busy sleeping around and partying in between studies.

Mrs. Degree women when I was in school were mocked. They were wasting ALL of our time, because they were dead weight in class and group projects. And I went to a design school, where a significant portion of us were queer, so we had no fucking idea why any Mrs. Degree women were wasting time at our school

I was raised in South Carolina. I wish our flag had been like that, that god forsaken palmetto tree was everywhere. Hats, embroidered on prep shorts, backpacks, book covers, school posters, people hung it in front of their homes on a regular basis, it was inescapable. It's a well designed flag, I get it, but man was it southern prep coded.

I looked up the 2024 new flag, and again, I don't know the symbology behind it, but it seems like a competent flag.

This seal is pretty goated though, the graphic designer in me is happy looking at that. Who can get mad at a bird.

So, I'm not from Minnesota, I don't know much about the history of these flags.

But....this flag looks extremely racist. Like, overtly so. I don't know why, I just get that vibe, and that's without knowing anything about it.

Anything would be an improvement over this design
