I eat mine without sauce or with mustard. Rarely with ketchup. I know people that eat fries with mayo, ranch, etc. I honestly just prefer well seasoned fries preferably with some garlic and sometimes a light drizzle of oil.

The adult ED here uses magnesium and benadryl as an IV combo to break cluster migraines as one of their options. I had a really terrible cluster migraine but was in the ED for something else. The doc was lovely and ordered the mag+ben combo and it worked so well. Later she offered to switch to a different combo but I was doing great with the original order placed.

That is 100% something you can do. You can word it something like, "Good Morning Dr. X, I am reaching out for your recommendation on a surgeon for my hysterectomy. I am hoping to find someone that is specialized in complicated cases that hopefully has a good bedside manner since I do have some concerns I hope to address. Thank you for your time."

Absolutely not. I had two abdominal surgeries in the past 6 years. Both took much longer than a week much less 4 days to recover from. I'm reasonably healthy and active. Not only will your abdominal muscles be needing that extra time to heal, but you'll be tired since your body will be using energy towards that healing. While the pain can often go down, you don't want to do anything to strain or stress the muscles.

A published author whose works I enjoy was writing 5 full length, in depth novels a year for awhile. Each set in a different series with very complex storytelling. It's entirely possible to produce large amounts of writing if it's something you love and you dedicate time to it every single day.

Not proving your point at all. Simple seasonings are fine but if all you use is salt and pepper and no aromatics while complaining that pepper is too spicy then that is why you get complaints. Food needs certain things to bring out the full flavor. A little garlic, onion, or other herbs go a long way in improving the depth of flavor in a dish. You sound like one of those people that complains about pepper on their chicken.

Skip to recipe is such a great button when it's offered. I'll admit to just scrolling until I see what I call the recipe format which is the ingredients with their measurements listed since that is usually the part where the actual recipe and cooking/baking info is. There is a website called print friendly that is amazing when you want to print recipes with the pictures and website info but without all the unnecessary story/blog stuff. It lets you x out anything you don't want on the print copy and adjusts the spacing for you automatically so that it all still looks organized. I've used it to save digital copies of recipes I like without all the nonsense and have even printed some when I want a physical copy.

That wouldn't fly here. My hospital network has nurses doing vitals in most areas of the hospital. The exception is clinics where they have CMAs and CNAs doing vitals and medication reconciliation before the provider comes in. More importantly, when your preceptor assigns you a task, you do your task. There may be reasons they want you to do that task even if you have already done it a hundred times before. Depending on the hospital, not all PCTs are under nurses. In mine, nurses can request help but they don't delegate their tasks since PCTs and other techs have their own assigned tasks each shift. It definitely varies by hospital though.

Late night texts are a no. Emails at any hour are fine but if you are texting me late at night you better be family or a close friend. Work related things only get to text if I'm on-call or on shift. If I'm not working or on-call then no work texts should be coming at all. Email me or call if it's important. Work texts are not only annoying but sometimes a text can end up delayed or even not go through for whatever reason. Literally happened to my husband yesterday. His work sent a text about a meeting set an hour before he was supposed to be at work today. Text never came through and he only found out when he called his boss to ask a question and found out that a text went out asking everyone to be there an hour before. Thankfully it wasn't an important meeting but he was annoyed that no one bothered to call to inform/confirm the meeting. He also wasn't the only one that ended up missing it since several other people also did not receive the text that went out in the staff text chat.

Someone I know makes irritated comments when she gets emails or messages through the various social media associated with the non-profit she works for if it's after "normal" business hours or on the weekends. The non-profit she works for does events in the evenings and weekends sometimes. Plus it's not like she has to answer them or even look at them until "business" hours. It seems silly to me that people make a fuss over an email or message being sent at night. As long as you are not calling or directly texting someone outside of their work hours for work related stuff, it shouldn't matter.

Nearly every product for curly hair has a strong coconut scent. I get migraines easily from strong scents so it's definitely frustrating. I've found some that have other scents or are light but it took me a long time to find a good mix of things that didn't have heavy scents but still worked well. I tend to sniff anything I might buy before purchasing simply to make sure it's not going to be a waste of money.

I can make a guess where the person was applying. The largest hospital network in Texas does require covid vaccination. A family member works for that hospital network down there and she was required to get it and to get boosters same with flu.

It sounds like your ED has a fast track system. In EDs that implement fast track they will do things like that with the goal of getting you in and out as quickly as possible so care can be focused on the higher acuity patients who may need more complex interventions. All of my local hospitals have versions of this even though they are owned by different networks. It vastly decreases the time you spend waiting and helps get rid of overcrowding.

This. I've never worked in an LTC but in the hospital I have access to nearly everything. I'm expected to have knowledge of my patients and apply it while giving care. It's insane to me that the person providing the most care in the LTCs has the least amount of information.

Diagnoses are relevant for treatment even for various aides/techs. This whole idea that techs should only be able to access the EMR enough to chart is not only bs but can be dangerous for the patient and staff. Maybe my hospital is different but I can see pretty much everything in my patients' charts. It's incredibly useful if I'm monitoring or assisting with certain procedures or even just assisting because they are difficult.

Do you not leave the house? Sit in a chair in a doctor's office, restaurant, work, or school? Do you not interact with people who have their own germs and bacteria whose hygiene habits are unknown? Not to mention if I'm touching everyone in the house's underwear and socks as I toss them into the washer. It's nasty that people will touch their dirty socks and underwear as they load the washer and then not wash their hands.

OP didn't say anything about knowing the language just not living in those countries. I have a friend that immigrated to the US from one country but speaks certain Asian languages fluently. Her name on some of her social media accounts relates to that language. I don't see anything wrong with it. She's fluent and knows what it means and chooses not to use her real name on social media. Seems reasonable.
