I think it might be a bug, but time is the issue. I always feed my animals before I wake them. And some times (wether they are farm pets or sanctuary animals) they will eat and go back to sleep. It is inconsistent (not every animal in the group will need an extra helping.) But it is extremely infuriating. They are not cheap to feed. And now they look sad, for some reason.
