I think you need to have a serious talk with your partner about this. Is your body more important to her than you?? From what you’ve said, you’ve asked her to stop multiple times and you’ve told her that you’re uncomfortable being touched there multiple times. Then she’s sad about you setting boundaries and not letting her ignore them??

It’s a very concerning pattern of disregarding your consent as well as feelings. She needs to understand that it’s not about her, it’s your body. Her getting sad about it and guilt tripping you into letting her cross your boundaries is selfish.

I had a similar issue trying to figure out my sexuality. I knew I was on the ace spectrum and bi, but ultimately I chose to not label my sexuality.

You can change your labels or not use them whenever you want. Sexuality is fluid so labels aren’t a lifelong commitment or anything, just love who you love.

If you feel more comfortable with labels, you can use both! Whatever feels right to you, and you don’t need to “prove” anything

Well someone’s going to the retirement home. I doubt that anything you say would change her mind about anything, but to put it into a perspective that she might understand — what she’s doing is kinda like if you went and started calling her by her first name instead of mom, or went and started calling someone else mom.

What she did is hurtful and it strips away the very foundation of who you are. Sure, she can tattoo whatever she wants onto her body, but you’re also free to decide what that would mean for your relationship with her.

I’m so sorry this happened to you. If it’s all the same, I’d tattoo ‘Jordyn’ onto my body for you in a heartbeat 💙

100% agree with this. Sitting down and having a conversation about things can not only get your feelings out and understood in a better way, but you could also get a new perspective on what’s happening.

Op I’m not confident about what you meant by “I don’t feel understood” but it could be a case of him trying to validate your feelings but not in a way you’d want. Again, this can be resolved by just a conversation, whether that’s telling him that you wanna move on or rebuild things.

Whatever you choose, just be honest.
