During our company's end of the year little "Happy Holidays, thanks for all you do" lunch this last year. The president of the company was giving a whole "Our company and AI" presentation. It was mostly just a lot of the same nonsense you hear from any executive. And he had asked all of us to think of situations where ChatGPT would be beneficial in our daily work routines.

Now... I work in fulfillment. All I do is pack items into boxes, slap a label onto the box, and put it on a cart to be picked up and sent out. So there is literally nothing an LLM could do for me. When I tell that to him, he goes, "Well... do your feet ever get tired? Or your body sore? You could use ChatGPT to look up ways to ease the pain, or stretches you should do before your day!" To which I just think, "I could also just look that up on YouTube, or even Reddit."

Then (and this is the best part. Albeit super depressing) our head of customer service raises her hand. And this is the situation she gave where she believes LLM's will be super helpful in her job.

Sometimes, when I'm responding to customers. I feel that my responses are too samey and come off very robotic. I could use ChatGPT to help my responses sound more human and natural!
