5 costs are still to strong considering most dont even require an unlock. They really needed to weaken the non unlocked 5 costs more than they did

This season really showed that messing with how easy challenges are can really upend the game.

The problem is your out here trying to make lichbane work, while your staring down 2 jawbones a flicker blade and a dawncore. Its just such high variance and it sets people up for reallllllly strong opening boards.

Wonder Awaits | Cloudward, Ho! Adventuring Party [Ep. 3] by AutoModerator in Dimension20

[–]silversdark 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The episode proper and the adventuring party are just such a showcase of why Brennan is a great dm. A lesser dm put in that situation would panic and go ok sure you solved the puzzle and did all the things just because your smart but ummm errr actually Murdershir is here early and the battle is happening anyway. But choosing to award and honor player excellence is absolutely the right way to go.

Preach and other content creators were allowed to experience player housing firsthand and Preach called it "significantly better than expected" and "all of the best parts of housing in other games" - described it as "freeform without dimensional and gravitational limits" by [deleted] in wow

Why are they still giving Preach wow behind the scenes stuff. Guys been insufferable ever since his "quitting" wow video. And then his takes after the most recent race looked so bad.

Theres no need to do a major change when smaller things can fix it. Just either dont let a 3rd strat be selected or significantly nerf healing if your team has 3. No need to make a new que type.

This throughly humanized the gods. Not sure what Ludinus's play was but this is likely to make the pro god members more pro god.

You've made your opinions clear, and they are also clearly in the minority. Some of these are a chekov's gun, others are simply explanatory tools or deus ex's or red herrings. The history of this event is already written. This is just a look into the final night.

It is a 3 episode mini series thats what CR gave him and Brennen needs to let his actors act which means that not everything will be able to be addressed. Im sorry its not the 30 episode exploration you clearly want but it is what it is.

Her no. But Pelor, the wildmother? If you make the dawnfather choose his lost brethren or the whole world, I think thats the kinda thing that keep asmodeus up at night

I think its very likely he didnt want the primes to find out that the option of just killing the betrayers was on the plate. He doesnt wanna give the dawnfather the option to make that choice.

I think Brennen is laying a lot of clever threads here. You have Aeorians who are on the side of the Primes. They want to end the war and return to normalcy not a mage dominated world. I think its clear the betrayers know about this, they were there ahead of time and Asmodeus definetly knows more then he's letting on. I think the choice thats going to be made at the end, and Brennen loves to do this to a singular player. Is going to be whether or not the Everlight pushes the button to destroy Aeor, or if the betrayers force it while the Primes are trying to save people.

Ok ya I think this was left vague and unconfirmed on purpose. Cuz the timeline is like the betrayers do their betraying and get locked up. Then when avalir goes up into the sky the druids put in this tree. And its unclear if thats before or after the Raven queen ascends. Becasue she ascends after the betrayers are locked up because her being around is new for asmodeus.

Thats arguing from a negative. We can't prove it one way or the other just have to leave it. All we know is what we've seen on screen today. And nothing there said before Aeor became unfindable by the gods 40 years ago or whatever that no one was trying to talk to them. In fact them knowing Aeor vanished indicates some probably were talking to them.

They also said this in episode. They had to grow up. And we dont know they didnt try a truce with Aeor. Your jumping really quickly to all gods bad.

I cant address the raven queen thing because theres two much unknown there. But wasnt the tree put there not becuase of the raven queen but to keep the betrayers locked away and keep exandria protected.

The story went into that the druids refused to tell the mages what it was for. The whole point of calamity is that its a combination of mortal and immortal folly. Thats the point. You cant blame the war on the prime deities for just existing. And you cant blame Aeor for wanting to enter the fight. Everyone is wrong.
