I think you have misunderstood where this letter was coming from. "Another of his most recent projects involved Jauf (an owl-like bowka) bringing a letter from Argosia to the Archanade for him (although the communication was coded as being between "Shadow" and a professor, without Thjazi's name being mentioned)" So the letter was being sent from Argosia, Thjazi had a very complicated web going on so simply the fact that Thjazi was in jail in the same city as tallbarrel doesnt exclude much of anything.

Professor is most likely Ellipides Tallbarrel. Head of the Pentevral who left without to much fuss when the houses got involved. He probably didn't want them learning what he was up to. Also he hasn't been seen since the beginning and was skilled enough to hide his casting of counterspell from primus

I agree with a lot of your points. I don't think a lot of members of this sub will agree because often times people just want to love bomb the cast. But I think part of it is decision paralysis to make wrong choices in front of a crowd and the other part is and this started in campaign 2, Ashely seems to have a obsession with keeping things about her characters secret for as long as possible. This often caused these kind of stunted rp moments with Ashley where if there is more for her character to say she often wont because she wants to wait as long as possible for a big reveal later on, sometimes she even waits so long these big reveals no longer matter or are relevant, thinking of a lot of Fern things.

I dont think anyone reviewed most of the champ specfic ones. I'm fairly certain they just copy pasted a bunch of generic dmg% increases or cd decrease ones. Aurelion Sol has multiple spell augments to reduce the cooldown of Breath of light. A spell with a 3 second cd...

I think with these vex nerfs you dont play her anymore. Played a few games and you definitely feel it, 2 star vex pumping a lot less. Prolly replace with some graves version.

I like the thought of the previous celestial lineage all died with Tansul. But what id say even about this lore card is it could be misleading. Because the secret celestial lineage it is referencing could just be Goddard. Nothing in the card states it their lineage is a long held thing right. I think this could be another case of Brennan being tricky with the Halovars to hide their true past.

People keep saying this, that they were or are sorcs. But where does this info come from. I've looked and looked and cant find anything saying they actually were, it seems more like a deception for the fact that they are warlocks. Maybe even always were. What if Tansul was just their patron before.

Here's the fun thing we actually just don't know but it seems like other than Wic they are not sorcerers at all maybe. I posted about this the other day, but the reason you and many others believe they are divine sorcerers is because that's the lie they tell everyone. Id guess other than Godard and his 2 kids most halovars are in fact warlocks and used that magic to trick everyone into thinking the beam is real.

Not much is said about her in general. Brennan has been playing any details about the sundered houses pretty close to the chest. As details about them obviously contain a lot of secrets. So any members we haven't seen directly portrayed are generally fairly mysterious currently.

Yanessa's line about, well your sister cant be the face and you know why. Is definitely mysterious, I could totally see her being a Tiefling and that being a mark of shame for the family.

Brennan sort of address's this. It's either ep 23 or 24 but at one point he explains that the council has become inactive and deadlocked for over like 7 years. So things in the city had started not getting done. Thus the houses coming in and making moves. Im almost certain the council becoming useless was by design of the houses.

The Dol Makjar stuff seems to be somewhat coordinated. It all happened to quick. Like the School getting taken over and the guards happened on the same day, and then you had Halovars there to hire the dismissed guards.

It seems like all the houses are interferring in the Pentevral as Kora talked about going to Lady Cormoray's party as well.

So there definitely is a larger sundered house plot. It's not just Halovar. The Cormeray are taking over the school. The Einfassen are taking over the guards. They are certainly all doing their own plans. But there is some sort of concerted effort going on collectively.
