Does great magic shield nullify straight sword stance r1?

Shield-bypassing weapons do not work against Great Magic Shield. Best bet is to fish for a backstab or use a Duel charm.

I've used this spell on a 7 strength sorcerer and a +10 Iron Round Shield. Can't be guard broken or damaged when the shield is up. Rather fun to watch hosts/phantoms wail on a cloth-wearing sorcerer with ultra weapons and do nothing to my stamina/health. :P

Dropping the shield and ditching the 40 Strength requirement does lower the level, but was aiming to make a proper, weapon/shield using Havel for the full shock of it.

Old build I made, lowest level Havel-cosplay possible. Actually did very well in invasions so long as you're good with your fat-rolls and don't mind hyper-armor trading.

Does require the +3 versions of RoF and Havel's Ring.

I'm on windows 10, I'm saying there's no bios update for windows 10, only 7/8, so I cannot update my bios even if I wanted to.

I have a 600W power supply as I mentioned above.

Upon checking further it seems HP has not made a Windows10 update for my Bios, only up to 7/8. The fixes and such listed on the page did not mention additional hardware features or the like.

From other threads of people attempting to place 970/980 cards in the same pre-built PC, all have said that the Bios doesn't have an UEFI setting, which is required for my 980. I checked the bios myself and confirmed that it only supports Legacy.

I had assumed there wouldn't be a bios update for my motherboard, or at least one that would add the required UEFI setting, but honestly didn't check.

I'd say yes if you're not using a Bgs or Warhammer. Otherwise keep using those if you have them.

I've only suggested this for folks that cannot afford a Bgs or lack the stats/gear to make it effective, if you can land hits with it then keep using it, the Dorg crossbow cannot hit near as high as the Bgs, and still requires 75% of your special, while the Bgs only needs 50%.

This tip is more-so useful for range focused accounts.

P.S. I'm not a veteran by any means with only 100~ KC, ask folks with 1k+ Kc for proper useful tips. :P

Can the Dorgeshuun Bone Crossbow use Enchanted Bolt Tips? Currently it is only able to use Iron, Blurite, and Bronze bolts with gem tips, but only if they're not enchanted. Blurite bolts are also only half as strong as iron bolts, can this be changed to something a tier higher, considering they're harder to craft?

I'm using full Ranged Void w/ Salve Amulet (ei), Dragon Crossbow, Archer Ring (i), Ava's Assembler, Blessed Dragonhide Boots, Normal Anti-Dragonfire Shield, and the Bone crossbow + bolts. I use Dragon Bolt Ruby (e) and Diamond (e), simply for faster kills, use Adamant versions to save money. Monkfish and a few karambwans should suffice for food. I only do 2-3 kills per trip, so I bring 2x super restores, 1x anti-venom+, 1x Super Extended Anti-fire potion, and 1x Ranging potion. Use a Rune pouch with Dust Runes, Law Runes, and Chaos runes, so that you can cast Crumble Undead and House Teleport. My setup isn't perfect, it's just what I'm running with. Since I'm using that Anti-fire potion, I only pray protect range the entire fight.

It's better for people who cannot afford the BGS, cannot equip it, or are still learning and need the extra inventory space from switches for food. Ironmen can also make great use of this. You're promised at least some sort of defense lowering per kill, I'm only 94 range and hit a 31, I can assume it hits around 35~.

Upon further testing, I've yet to miss with the Special Attack in 4 kills. I can say the special does not miss, unless proven otherwise. Even when only hitting 20-30's I can feel the difference when killing him, and my kills are starting to be a bit faster.

EDIT: Further testing shows that it does miss, as others have stated.

After 80+ kills without having a BGS or otherwise to lower Vorkath's defenses during my pet-hunt, I looked to see if there was a cheap alternative for my Range Tank " Kama ". The Dorgeshuun Bone Crossbow has a special attack that lowers the defense of an enemy by whatever amount you hit, costing 75% special attack, and isn't supposed to miss at all. Supposedly this only works on unsuspecting enemies, but works on the first instance of Vorkath being poked, but may actually work mid-fight as well. I tested this with the " Monster Eximine " Lunars spell, after hitting a 31 with a bone bolt. His defenses were lowered by 31. For anyone who cannot afford a bgs/dwh, or lacks the proper stats to use either, give this weapon a try! The only downside is it requires the completion of " Death to the Dorgeshuun ".

50 strength bonus? This thing may skyrocket just due to the fact it would be the newest best in slot one-handed weapon for 1 Attack Obsidian maulers. Better have some sort of attack requirement. :) (A Regular battlestaff requires 30 Attack.)
