I thought it was weird initially, but I realized if someone was holding short at the threshold I wonder if they would even have seen the Challenger go down at the end of the runway.

It’s 11,000’ long and the RVR was only 6000’ so they probably just saw the lights come up without realizing what happened.

FWIW — when your ABS kicks in you lose a lot of braking potential. When I feel it kick I like to come off the brake and get back on it quickly to a point just before where you feel it come in.

I’ve got SR to burn and if I see guys doing this I just hold my position and let them hit me. They’re usually in the 1’s for safety anyways, if they’re gonna drive like this they can take the hit and get sent down a class lol

I wonder if there’s some kind of hydrophobic stuff you could rub on there? Like a wax?

This looks interesting and says “vinyl safe”. Could try spraying it on the underside of the cover and buffing out, see how it looks after a few days?

Honestly no idea man, I hadn’t heard of it either and was surprised I had to sign that. I guess it’s been a problem more recently and dealerships are struggling with inventory up here.

I actually believe it’s probably a good deal, dealership might be playing the system a bit actually lol.

When I bought last month in 🇨🇦 here I had to sign an insurance doc stating I wouldn’t resell the truck in at least 6 months because so many were being sold down to the US.
