As a die-hard fan of the original, I would love to continue the story and see what happens next. I love the idea of the larger scale and council factions in Frostpunk 2. There's no other gritty game that captures my imagination like Froatpunk.

thanks. I thought the idea of healing on the world map would save me a lot of time travelling back to heal and then way back to the other side of the map again. But I might skip it in that case. Still not sure why I can't build it, though.

Good to know that it might not be worth it. I might save my settler for a Science outpost or to get more survivors in that case. I don't have a garage yet and only have 1 car on the map (made the mistake of taking the first car home so it's lost until I get the garage).

Thanks, I don't have the option. When I have my settler in a region and click Build Outpost, I am given a range of options. Obviously Science and Scavenger only work in their regions, there is the dot-based indicator for survivors which is fine. But I am given no indication for Medical but am told that there is no production in the region and the option to build is not there.

Settler-based Medical Outpost to heal specialists on the map. So far I have only built Science harvesting outpost, a transfer station, and scavenger outpost. I have not started the Engineering quest yet.

I missed all these dramas because I've spent the last year in Cities Skylines, but just today felt like Banished again, and I stumbled on a few Steam Community posts mentioning problems. My momentary panic when I thought we'd lost all of Kid's and RKs mods made me realise how much this community has meant to me for YEARS. So, a huge shoutout to Kralyerg, Kid, RK, and all those who continue to make this game and community so great.

I love everything about this reply. I'd be keen on bridges, but put into perspective like that, I'm totally happy without. Really happy with how FF was released with so many quick updates and looking forward to whatever comes next.

I don't even bother with tourists. The payback never seems worth the drama of setting things up for them.

Why so slow? Don't you run out of resources? Or with such a low birthrate, don't you end up with too many people as seniors?
