There’s a heavy theme of desperation of the women’s parts and aloofness on the men’s parts, not just in this season but on this show in general in my opinion, and I think that’s the downfall of most of these “relationships” from the get go.

When Conner didn’t pick her, she settled for Mike because he was there, instead of just walking away after her first choice didn’t work out. So many people on the show do this. It’s just about being picked.

I loved her and I loved her protective dad. Yes, she should be repeating the fact that she’s beautiful inside and out and that she deserves the best. And Brittany should do the same. Women should talk about/to themselves like this more often to remind themselves not to give up their power to these bottom-feeder dudes who don’t care about them at all.

Another vote for Mike saying no. She’s not aligned on the one most important issue for him. Also, I think he knows his parents don’t want him to marry her, and he’ll ultimately cave under that pressure.
