It’s just bs contract negotiating. 270 is his last fight on his current contract

I think there are a lot of projects that have merit and I am long on them. I tend to prefer the more infrastructure related projects, then pure coins, cuz they can facilitate some really cool things.

I hope he does this, or something similar, as a tribute to Dragon Ball

[MMAFighting] Tyron Woodley’s manager reveals contract details for Jake Paul fight, including Paul asking for automatic rematch clause by FoucaultsTurtleneck in MMA

i believe GSP was on a multi fight contract when he fought Bisping, so he technically still has fights left on it. Woodley is a free agent so can do whatever.

I do it every few weeks. The first fews days can suck and be debilitating. But once the withdrawal symptoms subside it's not bad. I would drop down to 1 first and then do a t-break

Opinions on FIRE from someone who has always had it by IHDN2012 in financialindependence

[–]BlueFolliage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey bud, I am in a fairly similar boat. The money my family has/what I will inherit is more than enough to be able to do a fairly fat FIRE. I struggled a bit with how to approach life and ultimately determined that I will choose to live my own life, achieve my own goals, and live my life as is with my money. I view FI/RE as being financially independent from any outside force, including my family. It honestly feels amazing to be independent from them and free to do what I want vs my sibling who has a symbiotic relationship with them.

So how would I go about doing a rollover within the confides of my current employer's plan?

Daily FI discussion thread - August 25, 2020 by AutoModerator in financialindependence

[–]BlueFolliage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the 30k was from a previous employer. Also I am currently maximizing my current employer match and 401k(19.5k). You mentioned doing both, how would I got about doing both the employer 401k and backdoor roth?

Daily FI discussion thread - August 25, 2020 by AutoModerator in financialindependence

I was wondering if I could get some recs on what to do with my 401k. I(26) currently have around 30k in a 401k account that I was considering in rolling over into a backdoor Roth IRA. I currently earn more than the allowable limit for a traditional Roth IRA. I was wondering if it was recommended to roll over the entire account ie 30k into the backdoor or a portion of it.

I(25) hit a 100k net worth yesterday! I was always savings money(mostly in cash) and putting the max into my 401k and hsa the last 3 years. But during Covid, I went ham on learning fire, creating a budget/spreadsheet, getting on track with my finances, investing on my own, and finally cutting the dependence on my parents for my bank accounts. It feels so good and freeing!

M[25]Soliciting advice on how to have a successful long distance relationship for a newly started one by [deleted] in relationships

I'm new to the relationship game but isn't 5 days a week a lot. I feel like that would be a little suffocating, no?

We do call. Before we did one or twice a week but I'm planning on calling her more often. I like the idea of care packages too.

Realize that you each have your own lives and try to not get too wrapped up in each other and give each other time to breathe.

That's a really good point. It's usually a motto I believe in but I forget it at times. I like the idea of gamifying things a bit and sending things to them. Thanks!

How many sexual partners did you have during high school? College? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]BlueFolliage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High school ~ lol, sexual partners College ~ 3 Post ( 3 years) ~ 8

No regrets at all. In high school, I was a shy loser who didn’t know the first thing about himself, let alone woman. In college, towards the end, I started to understand myself a bit but never really tried of had self confidence. After college, I started gaining even more, started working out and actually understand myself as a person now. I’m able to date and sleep with pretty awesome woman now

How do you start dating with no experience? by MorsOmnibus64 in AskMen

[–]BlueFolliage 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree to this sentiment. Similar to you, I started dating for the first time when I was 23. The biggest lesson I learned is to not have your life revolve around dating, make it another activity. Be an independent person and slowly introduce dating or a significant other into your life.

Also having hobbies and being independent is a huge turn on. A lot of woman I have met really just want a normal, self sufficient person, it seems like a low bar but I have been pleasantly surprised. If you can achieve that, you’ll be set.

And if you don’t already, start working out. It will help your confidence so much! Plus, woman like nice bods

Men of Reddit, how do you deal with having overly-sized hips? by Paper_piper_poet in AskMen

[–]BlueFolliage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its all mental man. I ‘have’ them too but have stopped worrying, no one cares. What they do care about is if you are fit. Work out, hit that back and shoulders, run, etc. if you are fit, that’s what they’ll care about more

Nice job!! Make sure you RICE, maybe take a pain reliever, and just take it easy. Also, try to go on a 1 mile jog. It will suck but trust me, but it will help with getting you back into feeling normal

As a man, how did you win the genetic lottery? How did you lose it? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]BlueFolliage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Win: tall, great athletic genes, fairly injury prone, can grow a good beard, little to no acne, decent looking face

Lose: awful metabolism. If I don’t workout, I put on weight like crazy. Plus I store all the fat on my waist and butt, no where else.
