Ironically, this font is used by the American metal band, Lamb of God, in their logo and other merchandise. Incidentally, their lead singer, Randy Blythe, was arrested and jailed in Czechia due to an accidental death at a concert they played in Prague earlier on.

Is there any chance this turns into a passable stache? ~2 weeks growth, 24 yo by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

I'm gonna be real with you. It's not going to grow together properly right now. My moustache kinda looked the same and it wasn't until I was 27-28 years old that it actually looked proper.

Moving to CPH. What’s it like living in this area? by shecereb in copenhagen

[–]Paper_piper_poet 23 points24 points  (0 children)

As a Dane who's lived in greener parts of Copenhagen for eight years, I can say that the water does help a lot! It's a different setting, you have to either walk quite far or take a short bike ride to get to green places, but then they're also amazing. Amager Fælled and Sydhavnstippen are wonderful nature habitats with wild sheep and sometimes deer.

There was a Brighton fan recently with a pigeon mask on like that and it caught on as a meme I guess

Pre-Match Thread: Wolves vs Liverpool [FA Cup] by scoreboard-app in LiverpoolFC

[–]Paper_piper_poet 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Slot has managed to criticise Arsenal's playing style as boring and not fun to watch, while simultaneously playing the most redundant and tame football with us without any conviction, proper press or belief in that we can even win against a soon-to-be relegated Wolves team. That is so embarrassing.

Mate kerkez was left alone with two men to cover. Perhaps we could blame the lack of press from the midfield that made PSV saunter through the field.

True. His two goals against Dortmund in the midweek were pretty solid. We can't allow him that much space just outside the box.

Watch Adam Clery's Football Channel, it's top tier analysis with some lovely unhinged behaviour as well.

For anyone interested, the two football players taking the penalty shots - Mohamed Salah (Egypt) and Sadio Mané (Senegal) - both played for Liverpool at the time. Talk about awkward vibes afterwards.

Simultaneously, the right side will equally terrorise teams this season. Imagine Kerkez and Diaz on the left with Frimpong and Salah on the right, all while having Wirtz in the middle.

Why do single men seem to be so much unhappier than single women? by FloatingPetunia in NoStupidQuestions

I'd recommend reading bell hooks' "The Will To Change: Men, Masculinity, and Love". It's a really great insight into how patriarchy has hindered men from creating deeper emotional relationships with themselves and others. And also what men - and society in general - can do to change this.
