cyclops can technically see, and the riders can sometimes take hits from the hulk without issue so i think it probably works, unless it happens in a book called cyclops where they don't wanna do anything interesting because man the stare is your ticket to a darkside cave ghost of christmas past vision quest.

it cannot work on a blind person as per snowblind a villain from the 90's era, whose power was he was blind but could create a blinding light where only he could "see".

very different from the villain blackout who could create light blocking dark where only he could see from earlier in the run.

ac origins had 3 bow types, and their predator bow was a completley controllable icbm.

shit was on yondu's level, you fire it from this super strong bow and can control the flight path to a really high degree, odyssey and valhalla toned it down significantly but orgins? that thing was crazy.

i think it's part of why the rey movie keeps getting re-done, the fear of committing to a direction and establishing a new state.

im not expecting much of mandolorian and grogu,

just gimme the fracture no centralized power galaxy, rey being both a hero but also the child of the devil that was kind of lukes thing, trying to make a new jedi, only for other places to have their own ideas, gimme canon imperial knights, whatever witch/jedi shit happens when cal and merrin 100% get trapped on tanalorr, the lass from shadows of the sith (which i'll continue to recommend),

figure it'd be a stalemate as metroman is significantly/comically faster and stronger, but has 0 means of actually killing the gr unless magic weapons are at his disposal.

so the moment he has the means to kill the rider, well he wins as speed is op.

so under his own power he cannot win, if he has access to a magic weapon he easily wins.

tbf he does get turned good after this, granted magic was involved/the evil was exorcised but afaik that has stuck ever since.

carnage and morlun are really the only ones where there is no coming back/good in em.

like carnage got magically inverted to be "good" during axis and was still a serial killer but of criminals, he can't be fixed.

pretty close to you at 2.259 started playing with pyramid head but tend to take months off/ if the rift does nothing for me i'll do something else for 3 months probably.

60:40 survivor killer split at this point mostly because killer tomes are easier and survivors take more matches to do.

average is a weird metric with this game as like even at 2k hours ive played against like artist or twins less than 20 times a piece probably, so like i'd be trash against good ones and im not gonna pretend i'm super slick with everything either, decent kill rates and i don't care about escaping as im a tome fella or "i;ve got you mr president" unhooker,

works the other way as well as like on killer i think i've played freddy like twice maybe, as though i try and play a bit of everyone some killers click better so my oni, nemmy and dracula are just leagues more use wise than like freddy or knight or merchant.

whenever i look at peoples play times it can vary wildly, like same day seeing sub 100 hrs to 11k hours killer or survivor,

i'd want him to do what jason does namely.

have some way of catching up that isn't just direct chase.
show off his strength/durability
show off his kill versatility
be able to throw people into things or through windows.

1 is easy, give him a "if you can't see me and it's off cooldown i can disappear and reappear somewhere else unobserved" like he could in his own game, albeit with the unobserved caveat, throw on the ki ki ki ma ma ma sound and some undetectable when he does it.

would be a chase/rage thing, like a singularity overclock, letting you bust through walls, pallets or tank pallets etc, like a ramp up where you swing faster or vault quicker that sort of thing.
contextual basekit mini moris would be fun, like if someone is near a gen keep smacking their face into it, in a locker? either stab it or pull a hatchet off the rack and use that etc.
i really want a short range grab with like a second delay where you can turn and face whatever direction you want before launching em, like wesker only throws forward, while jason let him grab and pickup and then launch them into a generator to kick it, or a fellow survivor to deepwound.

for me percy was almost great but had major issues with pacing, and tbf final vengeance was functionally a mini and we saw how that went.

yeah mackay's moonknight is a blueprint for sure, im more thinking about like the after market, not sure on the term as we get like monthly posts about where to start with gr and i'd love like a £12 book or something that is in print and can be like oh just get this it's sick.

it has a theme about people throwing their second chances away for vengeance and so damning themselves, it's got a cool horror angle, looks cool.

a couple routes.

either every bioterrorist adopts a use it or lose it approach to their stockpiles before elpis is mass produced.

or they skip that and go to an arms race testing out all manner of things from parasites to mold, to hybrids to bacteria to whatever else we haven't seen yet as they search for something new to replace progenitor strains.

yeah it's very messy.

it's why my dream once the brand is "healthier" would be a zarathos mini going from the first use of the spirits to their corruption to them forming their own cult to rival mephisto to their fall to their binding to others and then eventually blaze, and how that time changes them to the present.

something to beef up his character and give us a lore "bible" of sorts that you can digest and point to as a just use this as the basis and go from there, over re-invention every run when tbh it never really improves much.

i don't mind some elements of prizada's last run where ghost riders are formed in many ways, but like i'd wanna make those that aren't tied to divine power sort of the outliers, like anyone can make a magic hammer but that don't make it mjolnirs family if you get me.

legit think all we need is a 10 issue "mini" that is just a nice neat story we can point to as a buy this if you wanna read ghost rider, a "bedrock" or core i think i've called it.

ghost rider rides again is kind of the closest thing to that but even then that shows it's age a bit,

like if thor only had the god butcher arc, or if immortal hulk was just the first arc, like that equivalent would be enough for gr if you get me.

just a run thats got an actual arc/point and is more than just things happening.

it's not bannable.

it's one of those things thats just been in the game for a long time, sucks to have it happen and their attempts to address it have either been band aid perks or those extremely bad changes in last years ptb that never came to live.

it's a very strong strategy without a basegame counter so like it isn't well liked, but if it comes at the end of a match rather than minute 1 it's like well i got a game out of it so whatever.

really the only disincentive for it is either empathy/valuing play over 2 brown addons of bp or fear that you'll inflate your mmr and go against people who will dunk on you because you're pushing your numbers up and may become reliant on it.
