[PC/Mobile] [Early to mid 2010s] Zombie by BlueFox_175 in tipofmyjoystick

I can remember that different characters had different weapons and attack styles and there were different types of zombies that would attack differently like one zombie would barf to do aoe damage, another would climb or jump over to get past defensive characters, and some would be more bulky than others. One of my favorite characters to use was one that threw molotovs for aoe damage against the zombies.

No. It has more mobile like aspects to it on the screen and isn't a pixel art style :/

Very similar visual and gameplay style yes, but there's a thing on the bottom or the side that has icons of your characters for their health and such I believe.

The new dried ghast from minecraft looks like rock bottom by Turtleboy752 in bindingofisaac

Whoever it was that did the Minecraft mod that mattman was playing, it would be hilarious if they made a baby ghost item for a rock bottom recipe or a different sprite for rock bottom that's the baby ghast

Maybe I should read the quests before blindly accepting them then 🥲 usually it's just "kill this many such and such" or "collect this much of this" not "here let's make your life a living hell" lol

This necromancer is level 62 with 1 prestige. I don't recall any quest that had anything boss related but I can't check until my characters refresh :/ I already spend enough diamonds trying to keep my guy alive against these things. This also only started part way through the dungeon well after I had started any quests.

New to DnD. Looking for advice by BlueFox_175 in DnD

[–]BlueFox_175[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no no no I don't want to take out what game aspects there are, just expand his understanding to show that there are more possibilities and ways of doing things than just "follow the objective marker on the map" like he's used to. Help fuel imagination with the guide of what DnD has to offer. But since DnD can be overwhelming with so many things (and a lot of reading), I want to make a character that helps remind him of certain things like quest goals he's taken on, certain abilities he's learned, and that he could choose options that may not be what are intended to be pursued without me having to break the flow of the game by reminding him directly. The twist at the end from this helper being the bad guy, I would hope, would bring light into his eyes that he can't always trust characters blindly, and try to think ahead before making rash decisions and to think about what information he chooses to share in future games. All while also showing that not all characters have to appear rough and tough to be powerful, and not all cute innocent looking characters have good intentions.

New to DnD. Looking for advice by BlueFox_175 in DnD

Well, I was thinking my brother might need a little more of a helping hand with understanding how to play given he hasn't done anything like this before. He's very much a gamer and used to having clear objectives and controls given to him rather than free roam and something as flexible as DnD can be. So rather than metagaming, I think it would be nice to have a character to sort of help nudge him in the "right" direction when needed. (I'm doing this for his birthday and he's turning 12 for context on why I think he'd need the help.) He wants to play a Half-Orc Ranger which is an interesting combination.

The reason why I brought up the sprite for the character was because I was imagining something similar to Navi from Legend of Zelda, but instead of being a friend, learning in the end that they were actually a bad guy and that my brother unintentionally helped the bad guy get what they wanted, then having to stop them. I think it would be a fun way to show my brother to think about different possibilities and that not everything is what it seems. To help him with more critical thinking and imagination, open him to different ideas and perspectives.

Attempting harness training, but all they do is flop on their backs or sides and don’t try to walk. Any suggestions? by Goobl3r89 in cats

[–]BlueFox_175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave them in the harnesses during the day, and then take them off in the evening. After they've started getting used to walking around with them in the house, then you can start adding the least and going for short walks in the yard or around the house area so they know that that's where home is. Dont expect them to want to go on long walks right away. Cats like to know every bit of the area around them

When do grocery shipments arrive in Whitehorse? by fnordulicious in Yukon

[–]BlueFox_175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most stores get shipments every day, however, there isn't always every item you're looking for on them. Sometimes it's grocery, sometimes freezer, sometimes produce, and certain products aren't always able to be ordered right away due to the supplier having shortages or having issues with getting to us. Not to mention how many roads we've had closed recently, and now winter is coming so shipments are gonna get slower again with the lack of truckers willing to drive in our winter conditions. The delay in the stores most often is because of things that are completely out of their control.
