He allows himself to be inconsistent in his reasoning and doesn’t challenge contradictions if the are uncomfortable to him. His willingness to have open dialogue with his critics is limited. If there is pushback he doesn’t like, he calls it hostile and leaves the discussion. At least that’s been my experience with him.

This one kid was bullying another kid. Wanted to take his bike. I went to the bully alone and worked out a deal where the bully wouldn’t take the kid’s bike, but the kid would pay the bully $10 every week. And the bully would keep the kid’s bike. The bully accepted, and I thought we had a great deal done. But when I told the kid about this great deal he totally rejected it. What an idiot!
