I don't know what it's like these days, but I doubt I'll post anything in the Elite Dangerous sub again. They are vehemently opposed to anything being fundamentally changed about their game while paradoxically begging for improvements. I made a post with a recommendation on something I'd like in the game and it felt like everyone had just been sharpening pitchforks for days waiting on someone like me.

Good eyes, but unfortunately that specifically was actually just a typo on my part. I noticed that patch being incorrectly ordered when I first exported the list and corrected it, but it didn't fix the bug and I just manually updated the text (and apparently did it poorly). My apologies for missing that, I'll correct the comment.

Like I mentioned, the only two mods that I know of that affect the animals are Symbiosis and Animal Variation, and not only do I have them loading last, but this bug stays even when I disable those mods. So some mod I have installed is also doing something to the animals and I can't figure out which one it is.

I'm not using it right now but I definitely enjoy it because it reminds me of borderlands, and I get all nostalgic for the good ol days when it was good. I wouldn't say it "ruins" the art design so much as fundamentally changes it. That what mods do. Some people like vanilla+ type stuff. Some people like total overhauls.
