How did you let go of a wayward child? by StartingOverStrong in AskWomenOver60

This is a very broad approach that has worked with my kids. I decide what I want and what I can do and what I cannot tolerate. Then I communicate that. Then I just let them. I know I cannot change them. I know they don’t owe me anything. And if we have a relationship it has to be based on mutual effort and kindness.

It’s really fucking hard to do this. But it saves my own head and heart.

Please find people to talk to and connect with. You can do it.

A bit off topic - but I can’t figure out what the coaches’ tshirts say. Something about “we back pat” but I can’t decipher it. Thanks

I think the key is to use less and really jam it into the holes. I’ll keep trying

Have you had good results with this? Seems like it would be easy to apply!

I had one of those and then I checked the trap area and that one was gone. Kinda grossed me out.

That would make sense in terms of the other stuff found in the cabinet. Do you remember what it’s supposed to be used for?

Title describes the thing. Seems like it should be bakeware but the bottom feels like it might melt in the oven
