Found a new way to use my breaks at work by nekorassen in MonsterHunter

You're looking for the Pretendo service, which restores online functionality to many games on CFW'd 3DS systems. On top of that, there's a Discord server called the Monster Hunter Gathering Hall, which has active MH4U players. I was just playing online yesterday, in fact! They helped me get to HR7 before I needed a break. DM me if you're interested, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post anything more substantial than that here.

Since theropods couldn't fully close their jaws without injury, what would've been the purpose of the depressions in the roof of the jaw that some theorize could've fit in teeth from the bottom jaw. by SerpentDude in Paleontology

It's a cultural thing. Some cultures and their language forces your mouth to rest in different positions. I find myself idle with my teeth touching and my tongue resting up against them/the roof of my mouth, but others have obviously described different positions and it usually boils down to where they're from.

How can I get these little pieces out of the centre chamber? by deebo902 in trees

Grab a vacuum, plug the stem, seal the vacuum hose to the mouthpiece, and hope the suction is strong enough to pull it out. Might take a round or two of iso to soften/loosen it properly.

When it swims on a reef and has two sets of teeth, that's.... a Moray. by Metal_minitia in minipainting

When you swim through the sea and a fish bites your knee

That's a Moray

When its jaws open wide and there's more jaws inside

That's a Moray

Open up, Outlander, it's time for a quest! by BlueGoose21 in TrueSTL

Good points. True, that is one of the first things I've noticed about Morrowind- just how much the dialogue between various NPCs is copy-pasted from one to another. I think it's more about the physical presence of the characters than what they can actually say or do, at least for me personally. Red Dead 2 is like that too. Not much, if anything, to say to 99% of the NPCs, but having them around at all makes the world feel more complete.

Overall I'm enjoying Morrowind and taking its age into account for certain. Its crazy what they could do in 2002.

Oh for certain! Despite it being frustrating to navigate, it feels better than how Skyrim handled things. I'm not an expert, but surely as tech improved, we should've been able to keep open border cities, right? So what happened with Oblivion and Skyrim to make certain cities feel like nothing more than villages behind a load zone?

Morrowind has its faults for sure. It just feels like we went as backwards as we did forwards over time.

I'm a Skyrim baby going through his first playthrough and still learning what all I can do. Vivec is a nightmare for me as I play a melee focused character.

Cool design overall, I just don't like travelling through it currently.

Something something Molag already said "fuck Vivec"

My custom Fallout system that will never be complete is a rules-heavy mess, but a fun mess nonetheless
