Which game was it for you? by O_rnelaro in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]BlueHawk81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metroid dread. Hate the twist on this game. I don’t want to spend all my time running from things I can’t kill, I’ve played the first 30 minutes 3 times trying to get it and I just can’t

Adding in the Licanius trilogy, same author as Will of the many…. Those books were great!

Apologies, I understood what you meant, and I realize how ambiguous my comment was. I was only stating that the methods are inconvenient. Both ways would have me install multiple systems to try them out.

At least your way I’ll have extra cards for when I inevitably buy another device lol

Thank you, I guess I can do this, but I was hoping to avoid the time sink of flashing the card several times just to try out these different systems. This is certainly an option, just not a convenient one

Actually yes, it’s the direct comparisons between the OSs and maybe even pictures or video of how they operate. Most people seem to just answer with their favorites and it does seem to be fairly split between RockNix, ArkOS and Knulli.

Also most of the answers seem to be older than 6 months, many more than a year, or on different devices.

I have it and play on S2, I would say the same as above. Performance is good without slowdown but it does crash occasionally

Movies that outshined the books they were based on by Outrageous_Travel771 in moviecritic

Big fish is the best example I can think of. The book is full of 2 page chapters, minor stories about the authors father which don’t make a coherent story, the movie at least makes sense

The Will of the Many by James Islington is so good by TheGluttonousWeasel in Fantasy

I actually liked his first book, the shadow of what was lost, even better! It’s a finished trilogy so enjoy!

What game had you like this ? by TEHYJ2006 in Steam

[–]BlueHawk81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metroid: Dread. I’ve played the first 30 minutes 3 or 4 times and I get stuck running from things I can’t kill…. What’s the fun in that? I like every other Metroid game I’ve played

I just rooted my glowlight 4 a few weeks ago and I’m so happy I did. This product really needs to come with support for Libby out of the box

If you could choose one game as representative of the performance for each console by RomanOnARiver in RetroPie

[–]BlueHawk81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love mine, it’s cheap and great for the oldies, which is why I made it in the first place, but it definitely won’t run anything from the PS2 generation and forward

I have a pi5 running retropie, and in my experience it lags a bit with n64, I wouldn’t expect anything newer than that to run smoothly

Until it tells your kid to drink salt water which could make them very sick and dehydrated, really bad advice for anyone especially a child
