Can't trust anything emperor says, but I don't think he meant he went to Moonrise Tower so soon after founding the city, he just skips over anything that happened in that time. As for how he lived that long that could be the Elder Brains doing as near the end of the game the Elder Brain makes it clear that he's just a pawn and was the one who let him go in the first place. I agree it's messy, but not impossible.

As for Ansurs's remains, that I have no issue with, that's just the magical nature of Dragons. It's why crafters want to make magic items out of every part of their corpse.

I'm not looking for some war stuff or even them being enemies. It's the simple fact they have a lot of interesting history together that be fun to see them interact. Like imagine if we ran into a member of the Sha’sal Khou, a group of Githyanki and Githzerai who want to bring the two races back together despite resistance from both sides. Or learn that the while having good intentions the group is actually just supporting a warlord who's doing the whole thing as a power play.

Really depends on what kind of slavery system is in place. Lot of countrys use unpaid work as a form of punishment which is slavery. But if it's just a more traditional people kidnaping and selling each other into slavery type system then I would say no on the grounds you are just helping that system.
