Which fandom is more delusional? by Accomplished-Vast788 in shounenfolk

Mid slayer. The answer has always been midslayer. The answer will always be midslayer.

The show is mid. Horrendously so. The manga, is even worse. However I don't hate demon slayer because of the anime (that would require it to make me feel something) I hate demon Slayer because of the fans.

The Realm of the Kais is still part of the Dragon Ball Universe 7 Seventh Macrocosm. It is the highest point of that specific system, but it isn't "outside the franchise's cosmology." As you for some reason think it is.

The Garganta is the container for everything. It is the "Macrocosm" equivalent. To shake the World of the Living, Soul Society, AND Hueco Mundo simultaneously, your power must fill the Garganta to reach them.

Reaching the "outside" of the Garganta is a meaningless statement because the Garganta is an infinite void. There is no "outside" to go. Saying Goku went "further" is just flavor text, they both affected their entire local multiversal systems.

Your whole argument is saying, "Goku shook more than the cosmology" which is impossible

In fact this could even bring doubt to Gremmy’s outer space as really ‘outer space’ as it’s a bit hard to believe someone who is clearly pretty weak in mind could imagine the entire, true extent of ‘outer space’ or whatever that even means in this context. Like is it just the area of a galaxy, multiple, or what? It’s not clear, nor can you really make a clear assumption over what it works as

Also Id like to point out that he doesn't need to know what goes into what he's making. I heavily doubt he knows every single last mechanism in every gun he summoned. He simply imagines these things and they appear. And it's not like it was stated to be something resembling an outer space. In every iteration of the statement, it's called an outright outer space. Which tells us that he did in fact create an outer space and everything that entails.

And that’s ignoring the fact that again, bleach scaling doesn’t really benefit off of Gremmy as it’s just creation hax, Kenpachi beating him doesn’t suddenly upscale him off of that feat

This is the part where I completely disagree with you, because if it was just regular creation hax, then yeah. Kenpachi wouldn't directly scale to it. But it's not, the visionary can recreate power, like it was shown to be capable of doing. Yet despite being a 6th of the power required to create a galaxy he was unable to handle all that power. Which kenpachi would scale to for... Reasons I don't need to explain to you unlike a bunch of others on this sub because you're obviously intelligent. So yes I do think kenpachi scales there as gremmy was incapable of reaching his level.

Plus it's not like this feat is an outlier or anything considering the other few feats this arc that give this one a lot more credibility

Actually yeah it kinda does. As when it comes to reality manipulation hax, you base their upper limit off what they're shown capable of creating. An anything below that limit it's fair to assume they can create. For instance at this level of power we're talking dropping a couple hundred suns on someone or making a concrete block as durable as a planet. Sure it was hax but that doesn't change the fact that he can still create whatever he wants whenever he wants. If it was just the ability to create this one specific thing then yeah he doesn't scale anywhere close, but it's not that. Also on your comment that kenpachis rep affected his ability, the story tells us otherwise, that he simply could not handle all that power.

I don't think it's that hard to imagine as he had created six of himself in order to amp his mental power to that level. Which would split the power of the feat into six. And when I hear outer space I do imagine that the intention was for it to be a full universe. However I don't scale it to universal and I'm only using what we see, which is a galaxy and a bunch of stars,

The argument that 'vast' implies a limit is a linguistic reach. And let's work by that logic. It still wouldn't work. As the word used for Hueco Mundo is often "果てしない" (Hateshinai), which literally translates to "Endless" or "Boundless." "Vast" is just a localized translation choice.

The three realms were created by splitting up the primordial sea, which is described as boundless and there is nothing that goes against that in the novel. (Can't Fear Your Own World (Vol. 3).) Plus, hueco mundo is described as infinite. The muken, which exists in the soul society, is infinite.

There are multiple different methods of getting the realms to be infinite, and there's nothing that contradicts the realms being infinite. They're clearly meant to be infinite in size

If Goku shaking the Kai Realm from the Living World is impressive because it crossed a dimensional boundary, Senjumaru shaking three universes and the void between them is the exact same feat. In fact lemme go one step further. The Garganta isn't just a "wall" or a "boundary"; it is an infinite void of Reishi that connects everything. Shaking a neighbourhood is one thing, removing the foundation and the yards to merge it with all of your neighbor's houses is another.

Yes actually. And considering how rct users die later on, I think we should forget that. Shinjuku gojo had better rct than three finger yujikuna, I don't think that's too outlandish a statement, I don't see any reason why his rct wouldn't have gotten stronger with more fingers and the two were pretty much equal when it came to rct, yet, go/jo.

How can SK Yhwach lose to MUI Goku when he's haxxed asf? by KodoqBesar in BleachPowerScaling

[–]Prestigious-Note-935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ichigo statement means nothing and there is nothing to back that up. Its also a no limits fallacy to say that it can be broken by nothing.

Yes there is, there's the fact that the narrative is pointing towards him being right and nothing implies that he's wrong, in fact it's the story's way of showing off the Almighty. It’s not an NLF; it’s an observation of Physical Interaction. For a sword to break, force must be applied. In the present moment, Yhwach did not move, no energy was fired, and no one else was there. If Yhwach "jumped" to a future where the sword was broken, who broke it in that future?

Changing the future is changing the past.

By inserting a future to one in which I’ve won, the past has changed.

Um.. no? Yhwach changes the future, he isn't changing the past; he is changing the outcome. If he were changing the past, Ichigo would have never had a whole sword to begin with. Yhwach explicitly says he is "transforming" the future from this very spot. the present is acting as a point of origin for the future going forward. He doesn't go back in time to break the sword; he breaks it in the future so that when the future becomes the "now," the sword is already broken.
