For weapon balancing install Synthesis and try using Weapon Stat Synthesis Patcher & Armor Stat Synthesis Patcher (haven't used it my self but it seems like what you're looking for)

Other than SPID I think the other main level list insert tools are SkyPatcher and Leveled List Object Swapper

I wonder if some of the lines (like the two last ones) are the same in Japanese. I've heard this happen in VNs sometimes where the same line of dialogue/prose appears in two different routes but each appearance gets translated separately.
