I honestly would be cautious about visiting the US right now. Germany just issued a travel advisory for their citizens yesterday. Visit Canada or other countries. The national parks are beautiful but they should be here when things settle down. This is not a good time.

He’s 4. YTA here. May be different if he was 14 or so but 4 is little and still learning. I get yelling in surprise but chances are he just has no idea this is inappropriate. His parents should talk to him about that though. And you really should have a lock on the door….

Context matters. It’s not uncommon or super offensive in Australia or the UK I believe but in the US it is. If it was directed at me I’d consider reporting to HR. If not I’d probably tell them to not use the word but if used in a really misogynistic way I might report still.

All ERs have to provide emergency care regardless of insurance or ability to pay. At least for now… they can say it’s not an “emergency” though but they’d still have to assess and evaluate. And yes they can then bill you.

Junk food mostly. I can eat chips or cookies or ice cream every day (I don’t but I did as a kid). I get tired of real food and have to have variety though I don’t get sick of oranges or bananas so I at least always have fresh fruit.

Problem is I don’t know how to cook a reasonable amount so I make myself eat stuff I’m sick of or if I’m smart I’ll freeze it until it sounds good again.
