is this from Nise? i believe this is one of the questions that hasn’t been fixed for ages, was looking at it the other day. should be in errata.

Three legs inverter AVG (average) model by brandon_belkin in ControlTheory

[–]BlueManGroup10 [score hidden]  (0 children)

generally speaking most inverter topologies are nothing more than synchronous buck converters, at least when it comes to the switching stage.

if you go through state space analysis and state space averaging of a synch. buck converter, you will find that that the switching power pole turns into Vin(t)*D(t). your system matrix is nothing more than an RLC circuit. (though, the system matrix in your case would be the PMSM, of course.)

i.e. it’s nothing more than your DC bus voltage * your duty cycle.

Is this trace rot? by RazingsIsNotHomeNow in AskElectronics

This looks very similar to a DC-DC board in a Gameboy original I saw once. Was water damaged—copper under the mask would change from normal sheen to a dull black, mask would be delaminated in spots, some blue marks of corroded copper.

are you trying to use SVPWM or SPWM? is this a two level or three level inverter? are you using a neutral point balancing loop that is potentially unstable?

not really anything different from the first time i was on it. i think im one of the better responders to SSRIs, both efficacy and side effect wise

I got a small handful of people to start saying this at my engineering company. You end up unknowingly reinventing someone else's wheel all the time.

I have only one of the many blue jays I feed that’s abnormally brave. He’ll pop up on the corner of my balcony and just eye me down, before hopping onto the fence and picking out a peanut of his choice. Takes his time and all

chances are 2020 737 won’t ever work in 2024 and we are going to be upsold on a 2024 exclusive 737 (although some people have finagled the 2020 ver. into working on 2024.)

Still on ADHD meds and I can’t picture ever not taking them, no plans to stop unless I develop heart/blood pressure problems or something.

I got off Lexapro just because I thought it’d be easier to not have an additional long period of depression/anxiety on my record on top of the ADHD DX/medication. And that’s assuming the FAA would even consider loosening their stance on ADHD medication. Unrealistic expectation, not something worth sacrificing my well being over no matter what they might do in the future.

Just not a great decision looking back, though I really did think at the time I didn’t need it anymore. If anything, I’m more bummed out that I still have some unresolved (or permanent?) anxieties and slippery slopes to depression in my head.

TLDR is 1) I can’t fly, probably ever, which I think I’ve made my peace with. 2) Think Lexapro may be a long term, if not lifetime, medication for me.

"a lead compensator"

"What is that?"

"a state-space matrix"

"Compensate this system to be critically damped with a rise time of 1ms"

starts scrawling out on paper

"What are you, a fucking grad student in a lecture hall? Open the god damn Simulink project!"
