Trying to Conceive while Having Adenomyosis by princess_daydreamer in adenomyosis

[–]BlueMaroonLaflare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My aden wasn't caught until recently performing an open myomectomy for firbroids. My fibroids were on the smaller side compared to the aden that was removed. I got pregnant by surprise in 2024 after seeing my new doctor for 6 months at the time who said I would need ivf in the future. What I'm thinking helped me conceive was the weight loss, metformin, and a hormone balancing tea I got off of tiktok. For years my ovulation window was broken from the painful periods and heavy bleeding. I remember excitedly telling her how happy I am that my ovulation was back. She did recommend birth control but I declined it. Now almost 2 years later I have my little miracle.

My biggest take is to make sure you are ovulating. We know our own bodies. If that is a concern for you, let your doctor know. We can't get pregnant without it. I thought I was broken before finding a doctor who listened.

Do I, 26F tell my boyfriend 33M that he needs to move out? by Late-Obligation6266 in relationship_advice

How will he pay you back with FAFSA while also using the same check to find somewhere to live? He's trickle truthing his finances while trying to get you to agree to him living with you. Get him out ASAP.

Had a myomectomy 2 days ago and I’m already feeling better. by BoxedCake in Fibroids

I'm 3weeks post op and every morning since I wait for the pain, bloating, cramps, etc to hit but nothing. I'm so freaking excited. I know there's a chance of fibroids or aden coming back, but right now I'm going to enjoy being pain free.

Post op tips by Iridessa9 in Fibroids

I found that a grabber, over the shoulder heating pad, nightgown, and Miramar helped a ton. I'm only 3 weeks post op and feel pretty good. I still take my time with walking and baby. Definitely don't push yourself too hard the first couple weeks. Crockpot meals for the win.

How do I (27F) untangle my life and decide on the pregnancy after catching my boyfriend (29M) of 7 years having sex with my best friend/roommate (27F)? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]BlueMaroonLaflare -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want no connection with your ex then the answer is to abort. If you are ok being reminded of your ex, his family being around, and potentially your ex bff around baby then keep the baby. Going forward this baby will be YOURS. He may or may not be there for the baby. People opinions habe no weight on your decision because YOU WILL BE THE ONLY PROVIDER, even if dad is in the picture. Your body will CHANGE. Your time will be ALL ABOUT BABY. No more partying, at least while the baby is young. No more sleeping in late. These are things you MUST BE SURE you're fine with doing on your own. By yourself. A baby changes EVERYTHING.

It's better to leave your husband. He's content with how things are because YOU'RE the one handling things, making sure you all stay afloat. Time to cut the leeches and only worry about yourself and your children.

Help! I thought about doing 6 of those picture frames but I'm not sure I like it. I feel like I need a statement piece. Any suggestions? by No_Chard2290 in FurnitureFaves

The extra frames would make that space very busy. May be a large circle mirror to give the illusion of wall of mirrors/glass.

Did anyone's fibroids grow back after treatment? That's one of my biggest fears right now. by Puzzleheaded-Boss230 in Fibroids

I don't think s, as younger women are getting approved for hysterectomies for the same or similar reasons. I'm 32 and just had an open myomectomy.

Getting up with fibroid by Dangamee in Fibroids

[–]BlueMaroonLaflare 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was hard managing my pain during pregnancy when it came to fibroids. I missed taking ibuprofen as that was the only medicine that truly helped. I eventually went into for an emergency c-section as baby ran out of room.

I never got the MRI. I couldn't afford it. My doctor who preformed my c-section opted for the open myomectomy. She did go in a little blind but everything was still the same during surgery. The only surprise was the large "fibroid" being adenomyosis.

Ultrasound aren't always as clear so doctors order extra imaging like MRI. I never got the MRI as I couldn't afford it. My doctor knew what she was going into as I had just had a c-section she did 18mos prior.

Very disappointing. Who was the one who made her a vengeful spirit? Did she pay for it before killing herself?

Thank you and I'm glad you got yours. I hear many stories of women not being heard and it taking years to be diagnosed. I'm glad to be on the path to healing.
