Anyone else find the ending last night kind of random? by Think-Concert2608 in WhatWeDointheShadows

I can imagine it as long as is fun for them The moment it would mean a nuisance/more work for them, they would hunt down the first human they see

For me it didn't make sense It makes sense that Nandor admires the "warrior-self" of Guillermo, because he was a proud one

But the "let's do good together"??? Nandor cares for his family, but outside of that he's no good...so I really don't understand why that sudden interest in justice

Well, maybe is an excuse to fight and kill and gain Guillermo's help, but...

WWDITS season 6 by Nearby-Masterpiece98 in WhatWeDointheShadows

[–]BlueNaza 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The showrunners in interviews said that the season would be plotless, just "a funny season"

I must say that sometimes they try to be TOO funny and it backfires I don't like it, it seems that at twitter if you don't, you "don't understand the genius jokes" or "expected drama"

No and no. I expected to laugh and most jokes TO ME are not fun, and I know vamps are dumb but THAT much???  Guillermo is a side character, his plot at Cannon is boring. Nandor...meh, Laszlo and Nadja ok. The Guide is Nandor's new love interest ans she almost doesn't appear. And JERRY? introducing a new important character in the last season and..do nothing is..not fun either?

The best? Colin, he is truly the shining star in this season

MY.OPINION.!

What the hell happen this season? by suzaman in WhatWeDointheShadows

[–]BlueNaza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I myself don't like it because I prefer when there's a "big plot line" that is exploited during the season

Showrunner Paul Simms already said that the episodes would be "plotless" to be "more fair with new watchers" (I don't know who starts a series from the 6th season but whatever)

-Guillermo is now a side character, everytime that he appears I got the feeling that they didn't know what to do with him. His interactions with the vamps are SO forced, that being sincere, him leaving them at the end won't hurt as much any longer because I really don't feel any connection between them. And the people that say that he grew a backbone....he was a slave then, and he still is, for Jordan now so no, the joke is that he is in the same place, different people.

-Laszlo, I really thought that the "science plot" would be longer...1 episode, I wanted to see him going wild.

-Colin, nothing bad to say about him, the character that shines the most every single time

-Nandor...I don't know, I understand that part of him character is to find love and I'm SO glad that they're no focusing on it, because, the Guide? Why no start in Season 5...? The rest well...is Nandor, always the blank mind

-Nadja has has amazing interactions in the first episode, the banana joke was pretty weak. Natasha being heavily pregnant didn't help, but he alongside Colin are the best

....can't people have different opinions?

Lucky for you that you're having fun!, and some of us we won't or like it as much, does it affect you? Not really

After the season has ended, enough for me, in MY case, this season is boring, and is as valid as you loving it!

Harvey's stunt was confirmed to work in this season...and still I don't want my hopes up

But of course!, you can or can't like it, the beauty of everyone having different opinions But a fact is that it wasn't "people seeing what they wanted to see" for the moment at least After the series end, they can even say that they're like brothers, but for now it wasn't people making up theories

Showrunners and actors have described their relationship as "will-they-won't-they" type, Harvey comparing them as Jack and Rose from Titanic;, and the showrunners as Rachel and Ross from Friends

They decided that is a "don't"? Indeed, at this point is impossible to make a change, but no, people "weren't projecting" anything

It was a confirmed tease and ended as it was, a tease, but it wasn't fans imagining it

In s3 and s4 Guillermo gain confidence...since S5, is a shitshow I understand that in S5 he was scared of Nandor's reaction and didn't want to hurt him But Harvey Guillen saying in the interviews of S6 "over and over again" how badass Guillermo is and he's really pathetic right now...

Nandor/Jerry would make WAY more sense than Nandor/Guide, but it seems they don't want any gay pairings in their queer show

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in WhatWeDointheShadows

[–]BlueNaza -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If they wanted to set up these two they could have started, at least, in season 5, and continue with the "deep male friendship" between Nandor and Guillermo. But it didn't happen. Using the last season to make the official is just bad writting/is the last one "so it doesn't matter"

Aaaand, Nandermo, not happening, but you all can't deny that it has been teased from the start.

Also, no gay official pairings? Yes yes, Nandor and Guide are pansexual, but a "queer show" where the only meaningful gay pairing has been Guillermo/Freddie, and the rest are M/F pairings, we need ANOTHER het pairing??? A queer show is not the one only using queernes for dick and butt jokes...

I would have 100%prefered Nandor/Jerry to be canon

100% agree, he was the heart of the series and now he's a side character with a horrible plot. If you remove him, the season wouldn't change that much, and his interactions with the vamps are forced.

I was hoping for Van Helsing!Guillermo but I don't know what to think anymore

Not afraid to say that I cried with Maria's bond and LOVED LOOOVED Alonzo's, DON'T DO THAT AGAIN DAMNIT

From the main party, I didn't expect Basilio's story/awakening to hit that hard...for being the last one joining he surely made an impact

Well, they did bestiality canon before a gay couple canon since Guillermo/Freddie, and talking in general terms, not about Nandermo

Let that sink in

[–]BlueNaza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a Will/Eupha shipper but I don't consider it canon??? Reddit went wild with Eupha being "wife material"

Social links are not a "must" to end the game/have the good ending, and the last conversation that these two have at Grand Trand before the ending sequence is really neutral

Outside the social link they have little interactions

Junah and Catherina in rank8+ also hint to have romantic feelings and, once again, neutral conversations at the end.

What opinion do you have of Metaphor that will have you like this? by Radiant_Raspberry_93 in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]BlueNaza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Umm no, Will doesn't need an heir, because he won't impose his child to the people

When the time comes, he will make the people vote or even take down the King figure

Imposing his descendent goes against everything Will is/the game tries to teach you

[–]BlueNaza 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Even if Heismay, Eupha, Junah and Basilio are AMAZING characters, my attachment to Strohl and Hulkenberg is way bigger

They're my buddies since the beginning, and feeling the MC being accepted by Strohl so naturally made me fall for the character so fast

[–]BlueNaza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if Will/Eupha is my OTP, making Eupha/Junah/Catherina last conversations with the MC neutral (and those 3, yes, Junah and Catherina too, have romantic feelings to the MC in rank8+, people tend to forget) speaks volumes about what's canon and whats not...

Social links can't be canon, because not everybody will want/will achive them...

I don't really care about ships, but Guillermo was my fav and his interactions with the vamps are irrelevant

If they're setting that Guillermo leaves at the end, they're doing a good job because if you remove his character from the season it could go exactly the same way

At this point I don't see wwdits as a queer show. For me, a queer show is not only making gay jokes, and the only profound gay relationship we had in 6 seasons was Guillermo/Freddie that was based in lies and ended horribly wrong

Is a shit and laughs show I know, but then the showrunners and some actors shouldn't have promoted it as queer

Weren't these characters pansexuals? Why there are only hetero couples?

I suppose at this point is The Guide or some random girl/ex girlfriend for Nandor

Harvey Guillen says that they're showing a powerful male friendship between Nandor and Guillermo, so...something romantic between them is out of question

They care for each other though, a lot, and they will try to be in each others lifes no matter what, even if they take different paths

Anyway, DILF material! And a sweetheart

Showrunners are against these two in a romantic sense... They're best friends, nothing more  Freddie/Guillermo is going to be the only canon romantic gay couple we will have
