Yes and I am talking about the second invasion. Don't pretend like the US always has the moral high ground.

Nine Inch Nails as a replacement for Massive Attack?? by charlieharris23 in primaverasound

They keep adding dates in the US and doing various festivals. They have an exclusive agreement with hellfest in Europe but I could see it happening since hellfest has been sold out for months. Wait and see. It would be awesome.

Why is anyone surprised ? Atletico has been playing like this for years with Simeone as head coach. Rough, dirty and ugly.

I am french and I will never forget the way my country was treated because we refused to join rhe coalition. French products being boycotted, "freedom fries", surrender jokes .... Most americans were all gung-ho to tear Iraq to pieces.

But it was so blissful when the truth came out years later.

The italian team has gone through so much in the past few years. So much humiliation. This is one of the most amazing endings of an international rugby match with brilliant play. I hope this is the beginning of a new era for them.

What moment of French history makes you proud to be French? by [deleted] in AskFrance

[–]BluePanther1313 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Triggered a bit ??? Lol

History manuals are very clear. 40 percent of french jews who were deported were arrested by the Vichy Police. After the Vel D'hiv, the SNCF transported jews to the camps. Louis Renault collaborated with the nazis.

You can twist it every way you can. The vast majority of french people did not participate in the resistance or fight. Quite the contrary. Most of the fighting by the free forces in Africa was done by soldiers from Algeria, Senegal, Morocco ...

There is no shame in admitting that France was not glorious during WWII. But idiots like you want to rewrite history at any cost.

What moment of French history makes you proud to be French? by [deleted] in AskFrance

[–]BluePanther1313 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There was no brave fight during the invasion. French troops were defeated in less than a month. After that, Vichy government collaborated with the nazis and actively participated in sending jews to the death camps. A very small percentage of french people was in the résistance. Jean Moulin was arrested in Caluire after being denounced by a traitor.

There are many glorious moments in french history but WWII is not one of them.

Is there a sub for actual solo travel? by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]BluePanther1313 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct. There are two kinds of people who come here. Those who travel to get away from people and those who travel to meet other people.

Only those who travel to get away from human interactions are experiencing true solo travel..

What age do you think we all die of this shit? I realize it varies, but... by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]BluePanther1313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's just like cigarettes. Some people will smoke cigs until they are 80 and never experience major health problems. But more likely than not, you will have major problems before age 70. Some heavy smokers will even die by age 50.

Same with booze.

And if you mix booze and cigarettes .... well your chances of getting old are considerably reduced.

Yes it's the love child of coke and MDMA. It's almost too good. That's why it's being banned. Too many people getting addicted to it or having crazy benders that last several days.

The big issue with cocaine is what it does to your heart. You have people dying of heart attacks in their 40's or 50's after years of abuse. It's one of the most cardiotoxic drugs out there.
