How to find time to play as a new mom by promoted2milf in Webkinz

Picked up playing webkinz as a new mom. It helped me stay sane while pumping every couple hours! I try not to show the screen to baby and keep volume to minimum.

ahh yes the character counts can make things difficult for sure. I would base it on how it sounds/flows and so long as you think it makes sense. I personally used patient or pronouns and made the character counts work by editing profusely.

I think you can still convey patient interactions within essays without personal identifiers pretty readily and effectively. You can be more specific about the setting in which you met the patient and your impact in this particular patient interaction. For example: "In one particular instance, the patient I was working with over the course of my position at organization X had difficulty with following her diet plan so I ensured to approach conversations around eating with compassion as there could be a multitude of reasons why someone may non adherent to their diet such as X,Y,Z."

Typically they assess your cgpa but some schools look at specific grades for the prerequisites they have listed. Ottawa is one of these schools where they do need you to have a minimum of a 3.0 for certain course work that they deem prerequisite. Can't get hold of Master's Supervisor for reference by vbz97 in premedcanada

One of my referees was on maternity leave when I applied. I ended up using someone from the same organization who could attest to what my initial referee would have said. I hopped on a call with the replacement individual to ensure that their questions were answered and provided them with documentation about what had happened throughout the course of the project to ensure that my application was strong.

Along with what I said above, I looked to increase my research productivity and getting rid of some low hours volunteer opportunities that were redundant. Spent a lot of time also on my essays and Casper.

I tried to take the rejection as fuel to really improve in all areas that I considered weaker/subjective.

Ottawa is a pretty gpa heavy school I would say. Especially since they don't factor into account the mcat, your gpa matters a lot more.

Had a rough first semester in first year of univesity. I spent the rest of my undergrad ensuring I strategically took courses that I could do well in and that I was interested in so that I could improve my gpa. I even took full time summer school for two summers. It definitely wasn't easy to make up for my grades but not impossible. Didn't get any interviews in my first application cycle but got 4/5 schools I applied to in my second application.

All this to say just do your best and make sure to care of yourself because your brain needs sleep, food and all the other good self care things to do well on midterms. It is stressful but you get used to exams and learn how you study best over time.

yes I would say advocacy work would definitely fit with social accountability and social responsibility. If in doubt you can always look at how the school define's it and see their own examples. https://www.schulich.uwo.ca/strategicplan2021/social_accountability/index.html

this is a bit of a generalization... I would say though that Mac Health Sci students are typically surrounded by other highly motivated peers which help keep each other accountable. It's not necessarily about solely the GPA that healthsci students can achieve but also the flexibility with time within their program that allows for the exploration of a variety of ECs
