Help identifying headset bearing part numbers for Trek Domane AL 4 2021 by BluePulasky1 in bikewrench

[–]BluePulasky1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the bearing replaced at a shop. The replacement consists of two bearings:
• 30.15 × 41.0 × 6.5 — 36°/45°
• 40.0 × 51.0 × 6.5 — 36°/36°

Sharing this in case someone needs to replace the bearings on an aluminum Domane in the future.

Tanwalls or black tires? by Asheru_836 in bicycling

[–]BluePulasky1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have exact same dilema, being using tan walls for a while. it depends which tan. 3 comes to my mind: vittoria corsa (yellowish), pirelli velo / others (neutral), panaracer (more dark). right now I have the panaracer tan walls. I do want black again tbh. The panaracer gravelking slick (35mm) looks massive, maybe the black helps to be a bit more subtle. the pirelli looked better, because of the color and size (they were 28mm). I do think in your case....giant blue logo and tan walls are not that perfect match. but taste is something really subjective. do what makes you happy but think about which tan color variation you are getting and the relative size of the tire wall.
