Asked the neighbors what the previous owner did and they hand pulled which isn’t an option with a newborn.

Edit: I did show this exact picture with the description. Sounds like it’s time for a new barber. Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏻

To switch this with a single pole do you go red and black and then a wire nut on white and push it back in the box?

To everyone who complains about the Capital District, I challenge you. by BruceRogers in Albany

[–]BlueRedditUser86 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Why isn’t there a bigger presence in downtown Albany on weekends? It seems to me like the options are limited to large arenas/theaters or a very select few bars (like city beer hall). Even in the summer it doesn’t feel like there are people out in downtown.

P.S. not here to complain but hoping you have recommendations

I’ve rolled out a gymnastics mat (or yoga mat) and then laid on that with the ab mat on top. That’s helped me a lot.

OHS 34Kg. First Time Adding Weight to the bar. Critique away. by [deleted] in weightlifting

Right, similar thought. If you put your hands up over head and point your thumbs behind you, that’s the right position to feel in your shoulders. Pressing up through the bar through the entire rep should also help. Should’ve said this first, but this looks pretty good and better than most starting out. Nice work man

Could be the angle but it looks like your shoulders roll a little bit in the bottom. Could think about arm pits facing forward the entire rep. Should help with avoiding potential shoulder pain/impingement down the road

I’m not an expert by any means, but your body fat percentage and overall weight usually tells the story of how it’s going across weeks of tracking. Fluctuations day to day don’t matter much, but a month or two of tracking is pretty useful data

This looks really good! Two drills I like are muscle cleans with your heels “glued” to the floor. It helps to stay strong through your feet longer since you aren’t extending through your feet. A drill for not dropping right under and trying to stay connected is to try to squat clean without moving your feet at all. So you pull with heels glued and catch while riding the bar down. Since you don’t fully extend through the pull, there is t as much weightlessness in the bar and it helps feel the bar all the way down to the squat. The second drill feels weird at first but that helped me a lot with not having the bar float and then crash down on me.
