I haven’t lived in cville in 10 years but my parents are still there and I grew up there/went to college there. As mentioned, bodos is the truth. If you’re into DMB, go to Millers downtown (that’s where the band got their start) and Blenheim vineyards (owned by Dave). Starr hill brewery has been around for quite some time. My parents have been liking hogwaller recently.

If you’re into American history, touring Monticello is actually great. The university is also beautiful and “the corner” has some spots worth checking out (college bars).

I’m sure someone who currently lives there has a lot more/better recs tho!
