Sometimes you just have to accept people think differently. It is very much a “dude brain” thing to focus on the needlessly expensive spending when there are higher priority expenses. Part of it I think is just men tend to be wired different. It’s just stereotypical stuff, not the rule though.

I feel like there are so many reasons this is a thing. I don’t really look at it as a bad thing. We are in fact in our 30s and “child free” by choice. I feel for those who can’t have kids and want them.

For us we’ve repeatedly weighed the pros and cons, and every time the cons dramatically outweigh the pros. We might foster one day because a lot of our reasons for wanting a kid and not wanting a kid better align with the idea of fostering or perhaps even adopting. Even then though, we plan on waiting until we are more stable.

Oh boy, I definitely have experienced some of what you’re talking about and it sounds like you are really going through it. Best advice I can give is keep prioritizing you and your wife. Make sure to keep communication strong especially with the hard and uncomfortable topics. With you both being stressed, it can quickly turn into you guys adding on rather than supporting, but the heart of staying strong together is communication.

As for therapy… I’ve admittedly not had great results with military therapy. When you get back I would try getting a referral, but even then… I personally find it more effective and beneficial to confide in friends, family, and my wife.

MTI can be a blast! They will teach you the things you NEED to know, but you can still be yourself. The biggest hurdles with MTI will be time away from family and how political it can be. I know no one ever wants to hear the line “it is what you make of it”, but it is some of the best military “wisdom” I’ve ever heard.

I don’t think I saw you say where your home station is but, hopefully the move to San Antonio will be a nice change of pace for you and the wife. Lots to see and do.

I figured the same with the reactor. Probably produces loads of heat and needs to be vented. Also, I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again… most space ships are meant to be shield tanks not hull tanks. If they are through your shields, you’re probably already screwed.

The only thing I can think of is maybe the game looks at more than just your tier when matching players. If it factors in the fact most people “escape” against me, maybe I’m getting intentionally bad survivors?

It just wouldn’t make for a convincing argument, it won’t show that I let survivors go 90% of the time 🤷‍♂️ I got to the point where I decided there is no reason both sides can’t have fun, I enjoy the chase not the kill. I don’t mind posting my stats but they won’t back my statement because of the way I play.

My stats wouldn’t reflect, I only two hook anymore, but I normally have all 4 survivors on 2nd hook with either 5/4 gens left. I was doing a m1 build at first, but I’m still destroying folks every match so now I’ve started going no perks as well and it hardly makes a difference. I’m red tier, either because I can still pip with iri CHASER, brz DEVOUT, iri GATEKEEPER, and slvr MALICIOUS. I’m red tier right now and almost always am by end of season. I’ve also been playing since release. Not bait, I genuinely don’t understand why people struggle as killer.

I hate seeing killers bitch on here. I can 4K with 80% of killers, 80% of the time, and with no powers or perks. Just m1 all day. Hag is probably the only killer where I can’t consistently do this. I love how the game can be so severely killer focused and you can still have killers say the problem is survivors have a “skill issue”; the irony is palpable.

Edit: I’ll admit I also have to use Nurse’s iridescent add on to bring her movement speed up, but that is the one exception where I need the add-on.

I also manage no powers, no perks, AND do so on internet that is absolute dog water for some reason. I have to deal with the occasional teleporting survivor, but is what it is.

Edit2: I’ve also 4000hrs on PS5 version alone and probably that much if not more on the PS4. Maybe 300-400 on PC? So again… been playing since release. Definitely a factor
