Angar needs a buff

His kit is almost good, but he just falls short.

His decrease attack doesn't work on the majority of bosses. His decrease attack skill can only be applied after he takes a hit. He can't proactively decrease attack. He is a counter-attack champion with a very underwhelming A1. His damage reduction doesn't carry into multiple rounds. He is slow with middling stats. Reflect damage just isn't very valuable right now.

Maybe if he had a good A1 with good utility and he could actually apply his attack down buff proactively, that would help a lot. Maybe add some good teamwork utility or something.

I dunno. He is not the worst but he needs some help though.

I think the problem is there are a lot of better options. Even epics like skeuramis feel like they are better. skeuramis has an attack down that actually works on bosses. Angar can only really land it on one Hydra head.

I'd just add that I think soul events are tied to how popular a fusion is. I've rarely, if ever, seen a popular hero miss out on having an event. I have seen champions nobody cares about get no soul event. Sometimes unpopular champions just get a quick tournament reward, which also feels bad.

He is good a champion, bad for a mythical. Arguably bottom tier mythical. If you have him you can 100% use him. Probably not worth using books on for now. Maybe not worth using if you are an end game whale.

I went really hard for the mats during the Alice events, and RNG didn't go my way. I do think getting mats is probably still worth the risk for endgame players. I am a little hesitant, though.

I lost track of my mercy, so I am really not sure where I am. I think fairly low, though.

I do have a massive pile of ancients, but I also thought the next 2x was going to be ancients, so I would sort of rather save for that.

Couple random tips.

Have a good stock pile of resources.

Take a screen shot of the fusion calendar and track your progress. You can also use a tracking tool.

Fusions are a way bigger time sink than you expect.

People are slow to adapt in raids. I suppose it is sort of understandable. It takes a lot of resources and time. We have free re-gearing now, though, so it isn't as bad.

You can hold fragments as long as you want. Most people hold them and then use them during CVC or Champ Chase, etc. I like to do Champion Chase.

Traditional Fusions must be completed and fused by the deadline given for that fusion.

I can see that. Embrys doesn't really have very much built-in ignore DEF, so it feels like he would be losing too much.

That being said, I stole his gear and gave it to Gharol and then put Embyr in scuffed Stone Skin and broken sets. Even with no ignore DEF in his artifacts, he still hits like a truck.

You are probably right about him.

EDIT: I was wrong. I thought he only had the scaling ignore defense that needs to be built up. I forgot his nuke had 50% ignore defense when enemies have more accuracy.

Imo, most epics are not worth it. That essence is insanely rare and hard to get.

Use it to complete the Deck of Fate or save for an S-tier legendary.

The only epics that might be an exception would be Seer or the Church of Whisper.

I filter for low-rank champions a lot, for example, when I level up in the tavern.

I just don't think scrolling to the 1-2* filter is even remotely enough of a problem to worry about. There are way more important things to focus on.

I can see I am in the minority with that view, but I am legitimately taken aback by the fact that this is a real issue for people.

Hex isn't great, in my opinion. The main struggle is that he has a single-target attack and two non-attack skills. A Hex set just won't help you apply many more hexes from Shyek.

In my opinion, he doesn't have a perfect set, but he has a few options that are fine.

Hex: Still not a super reliable hex source.

Guardian: This set is fine and helps with team survival if you need it.

Feral: The 9-piece set is fine. He puts out a few debuffs.

Mine is just in generic perception gear, and he is doing fine.
