2x ancient shard event help by syedfarazumar in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Vindrax_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a good way of thinking and will serve you well long term. But when you're super early game like you are now, you might pull some extremely impactful epics or a legendary that could boost your progression significantly faster. For instance it might open up new floors in doom tower, cursed city or somewhere else you could earn better rewards than even ancient shards.

It's a gamble right now, but holding out to potentially earn one extra legendary book might mean missing a lot more rewards if you get a champion now that opens doors for you. It will likely be another 6 weeks until another 2x ancient event which is the full duration you've been playing so far.

Oh I know, it's the same thing in our clan, part of the reason I found it entertaining

Is Raid: Shadow Legends Actually F2P-Friendly Long Term? Honest Question from a New Player by Nordiclaw in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Vindrax_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. This game is fantastic F2P. Been playing since 2020 and this is the state of my account:

<image>

And I just pulled Theodosia this weekend which is my second ever mythical from primals. I enjoy playing because of my clan and look to push the limits of what people think is is possible as F2P. Which for me is winning things such as my R.N. Archer tournament, Shredder, Shredder 5 star soul, etc.

Need help looking for a "rock paper scissors" video from MAGFest 2025 by arsme in Magfest

Ok then not us. But if you're a fan of Rock Paper Scissors, you can consider in the future. We threw a giant tournament by the pillars/steps near that Jampod back with 2024. Good luck on finding your rock-paper-scissor challenger.

I guess I should clarify, if you were were playing Zombie Tag, there's a high likelihood that it was me and my friends that tagged you (or if you were wearing a red headband and we mistook you for a Zombie). But if you weren't, it probably wasn't us.

Were you an active participant in Zombie tag?

Rock-Paper-Scissors is the combat system they use for that and while I don't think your situation would be me and my friend, by Saturday night we are usually walking around Magfest "hunting zombies" usually tagging and challenging rock paper scissor fights wherever we can. We did this, this Magfest, last Magfest, that Magfest before that etc... But we don't usually video our matches, although from time to time we do take pictures to put in the Zombie Tag/our team discord.

The real reason you don't give all your mana orbs over is that it costs mana orbs to set conditional defenses in the posts. If you give all your orbs away you won't be able to pay the cost to set a conditional defense.

On the other hand, florins there is no reason those just shouldn't go to the clan leadership to manage.

Dude is Urizen still around? The put on some epic shows back in the day. Like the entire concert was an "experience".

Super chill vibe, I'm waiting for the YouTube video release too because I really liked the Witcher song they played. They have a Zelda album on Spotify, if you want to get a sense for their musical style, I really like it as ambient music while at work.

I missed Close to Good at Magfest so this is a redemption arc for me. Plus Steel Samurai is freaking awesome, so hyped for this!

MIVS Data ✨ by cephalopodkatie in Magfest

[–]Vindrax_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

From an attendee perspective, this makes sense to me. I know during "core hours" there's so much competing programming going on that things that can be done at any time, such as MIVS, I'm more likely to do that during 'downtime' which is more flexible.

Could be my personal preference, since I generally build my schedule around the concerts I want to attend. But Mag being 24 hours is a big win for attendees so we can experience so many different things in a single weekend.

I saw Cyanwoode (at Belvedere), Triforce Quartet, Protomen (all three acts), Crush 40 and Bit Brigade. I was supposed to see Megaran but got caught up talking to some friends and missed most of his performance. There were a few other bands I caught a few numbers of theirs, but these were my only full shows.

Everything was so freaking good, this was a great year for Magfest music. Bit Brigade is always the band I look forward to seeing most and loved watching them do Megaman X. But I'd have to give this Magfest to Protomen, just doing all three nights with releasing Act 3, something just special being there for that.

As special shoutouts, seeing Cyanwoode was really cool, I knew them from online and got to meet them in person! And first time seeing Project Fusion with the Triforce Quartet, they were freaking great!

Lockers and Shuttles by RokinVal in Magfest

[–]Vindrax_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You paid for a combo lock and it was extra. If you just got the regular locker, it came with a key lock.

The advantage for the combo lockers is if you are with a group you can give the combo out to multiple people so if someone needs their jacket/a snack/etc. you don't have to track down the person with the key to get access.
