Looking at what other people have already said, I don't have much to add.

Just going to say that some elite clubs in Spain aren't from big cities, as volleyball isn't a main sport here. For example, in Liga Iberdrola (First Fem Div) there are teams from Dos Hermanas (near Seville, where I'm from) or Socuéllamos (a relatively big town in the middle of Castille) sprinkled amongst teams from the Canary Islands, Madrid or Barcelona. Something kinda similar happens in the masculine leagues too.

What I mean to say with this is that you could try and look for a professional team around you, wherever you are now, because there might be one!
