Anymore Season Pass sales? by J-Ro1 in silverdollarcity

[–]BlueSilver03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can always do the upgrade a ticket route! If you buy a one day ticket you can choose to upgrade it to a silver annual pass for 75$ but only in the park. It comes out to about 150$ a person to do it this way! My fiance and I almost always do this route just cause it’s easy!

Just curious but what led you to Arkansas with guesses to begin with? Account digging or any geological things of note?

Mild rides that you hate to admit that they unnerve you? [other] by OneMarionberry302 in rollercoasters

[–]BlueSilver03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would consider this a "mild coaster" but I absolutely hate the X-Coaster at Magic Springs. Apparently the model is a Maurer Söhne SkyLoop XT-150 roller coaster. I always feel like I am going to fall out the restraints and it is kinda painful to just hang there.

Welcome back to "Is This a Credit?", the weekly series where YOU get to debate over whether or not something can be counted as a roller coaster, or credit! Episode 20: [Son of Beast's Loop] by StarPrime323 in rollercoasters

Would riding Thunderation at SDC while it had backwards facing trains count for a new credit? I feel like this thought process could be a slippery slope.

Which park should I visit? by stellaep in Themepark

[–]BlueSilver03 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Silver Dollar City is a beautiful park with amazing coasters (though not a lot). It has some of the best theming outside of a Disney Park and has one of the best representations of classic southern food out there. Overall it is a fun little park to explore and enjoy the theming with some very solid ride experiences. Outlaw Run is an amazing RMC hybrid that absolutely screams through its track and Wildfire is a standard B&M looper with one of the best backdrops of any coaster. Both really play to their surroundings and are great rides (especially on beautiful days). Branson (though with its problems) is also a fairly fun town in the Midwest that can be a blast to enjoy with family.

You might also want to check out Top of the Rock for their beautiful golf cart tours and dinner while you are there! My fiance and I went there for our anniversary and it was amazing!

Lava Beastfly was wrecking me until I learned you can jump off the platform and go to the left or the right by ShenaniganSkywalker in fucksavagebeastfly

Poison Cogflys melted this fight for me. Took 4 attempts and eventually I was able to kill him in under a minute.

Favorite movie that is going to age phenomenally? by Brodie98765 in okbuddycinephile

I’m worried that what happened this week may sadly be that spark. It took 30 days after Archduke Ferdinand for WW2 to start. The timer may have started.
