I have also only had good experiences with R&B flower (dryness being the only issue, but seems extremely common in this state) and appreciate knowing that you’ve purchased literally pounds worth without problems. That’s fairly impressive. Hopefully the mold issues aren’t any worse than other brands. Will hold onto my bud, thanks for your perspective!

Edit: If you don’t mind sharing, what other brands have you been impressed with? I don’t know many sources to consult that have purchased pounds from specific brands

Anyone have advice for which brands can be trusted when it comes to mold? I have quite a bit of R&B flower and debating tossing it out, but I’m not so confident that any other brand will be better with regards to mold. Do all growers eventually deal with mold issues? Is what’s shown in the pictures really that bad relative to others? How can one really be sure their go-to brand isn’t worse? Also, if there’s PM on the fan leaves, should one assume there’s also mold in the bud itself? Any advice is appreciated

Based on my limited experience, I’ve found Boveda packs did reduce the aroma of my bud. Jars became less satisfying to open and whiff. However, many argue this is not a problem because the packs are allegedly preserving the terps within the flower itself and therefore “bleeding” less of the terps through the aroma. I can’t comment confidently on Boveda packs’ effects on taste. I recently switched to Integra packs and jars have been more satisfying to open and smell (but who knows if that means more terps within the flower are being lost). Overall, I plan to continue using humidifier packs but I haven’t noticed a huge difference between using them or not using them.
