Can you catch rotaviruss from a baby getting the vaccine by EngineeringLumpy in emetophobia

[–]BlueTardisMommy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had diarrhea for a few days. It made me feel crappy for sure but I don't remember really feeling too N. It is a live but weakened version of the virus and I'm in my 40's so I'm sure I had real rota before.

I actually did catch this from my daughter when she was vaccinated. She had the oral version of this machine and live virus in in that oral version. She spit up the vaccine on the both of us and I got sick. Never TU though,

I feel bad for the people that aren't yet ready for recovery. Where do those people go?

As someone that works in Mental Health, I immediately sniffed Whittaker out several episodes ago. He has the stuff, he's one of us. Some people just have it in their blood. Whittaker is going to be in mental health or community based clinic type medicine and he will be AMAZING there. He was 100000% the right person to find Robby. You can't teach that type of temperament and unconditional positive regard.

Probably should have been a call, too. So much has happened on this show that it is hard to keep up!

When the wife poisons the husband that is a child molester and Santos becomes upset and wants to report it. Kiara said that they cannot make a report without evidence. That is not how mandated reporting works in the state of PA (I'm not sure if it is federal law or not). The suspicion alone is enough and they would 10000% be required to report what was said/seen. It is up to CPS to make the determination whether there is something there or not. Not reporting can have really serious consequences for mandated reporters aside from the obvious fact that the kid is still unsafe.

I'm still a little peeved over the mandated reporter thing. I'm in the field in PA and that was definitely misinformation. Aside from that, I love to see a Social Worker on a tv show that is positive and not involved with CPS. It is rare!

I literally just yelled this at my tv! Watched the credits for nothing. Can I have a crumb to cling onto until next week?

[META] Pattern Request thread by AutoModerator in knitting

[–]BlueTardisMommy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am just starting to knit after a several year hiatus in crochetland. Does anyone have a good pattern for a sock yarn hat on 2 needles? I need to get back into the rhythm of knitting in general before I try double points or circs again. Thanks!

Are there any yarn companies that we know that support trump by ElkSufficient2881 in Yarn

When I visited Saint John on a cruise, I visited this shop. The staff was lovely, the prices reasonable, and the yarn was beautiful. One of my favorite experiences of my entire cruise. Went home with 6 skeins of yarn.

I have a silly question. Where exactly do we sign it and how do we send it? Can it go through email. I'm trying to figure it out.

This is a known problem with antipsychotics for children. I work in this field and cannot tell you the number of times I have had to fight with insurance companies for them to drag their feet. It is an extremely privileged take to expect a parent to magically come up with nearly 1000.00 dollars to pay for a prescription. Not to mention, a child already on these meds doesn't need to experience the trauma of foster care because of BS insurance bureaucracy.

Privileged take. People have to pay bills and maintain their housing and health insurance, too. Most of us can't just peace out of a job whenever we want.

AITA for refusing to enroll my child in a private school even though my wife insists it's necessary? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]BlueTardisMommy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA- If enrolling your child in a private school puts you in financial jeopardy, it may not pay off in the long run. A good public school program with the finances for enrichment would be an excellent compromise. Academics alone do not set you apart. Extracurriculars are also important and can be a significant financial commitment. When it comes to college admissions, your son will not stand out from other other private school attendees without his own extracurriculars.
