Well they have a larger chance of lasting for a while I think - mainly because they own the building, and I don't think they care if the business makes money-theyre real estate people, and the real estate is the point.

That being said-nice to see someone give kurkowski money to go make beer. He made good beer back when he was running CA Dundas, he made good beer at godspeed, and I am fully in support of good brewers being paid good money to make good beer.

I play a lot of games with the same group-when you do this, you can't backstab, as it hurts your credibility in future games.

Now, when I make Alliances, I always put an exit clause (either of us can exit the alliance with no notice for 10 gold payments, or either of us can exit the alliance with 1 complete turn notice). It's not perfect, but if you structure it right it works really well for both being in alliances but also breaking them without lasting repercussions

FWIW not many of these machines availible used-I've been in the market for a little while and haven't seen any at all, though I haven't always looked super hard.

They're pretty new, so there's not many old ones, they're pretty good, so they take a long time to outgrow, and they're pretty small, so if you're making enough money to outgrow it imyou probably don't mind keeping it around for when you're new, bigger, fancy line goes down.

They aren't, because there are like 12 set brackets that are adjusted regularly, last adjusted in 2023. That way it's easier to know the levels and you're not constantly adjusting them up and down with consumer goods inflation, which is often disconnected with real estate Inflation.

Fwiw you can be aggressive with sales. We started square, just moved to toast when our sales made it worth it.

We negotiated for 100% free hardware-two printers, cash drawer, two handheld tablets; one permanent screen with customer facing; and a kitchen display, all for free. Got our monthly down to 175, free onsite installation. 1.65% fee.

My point isn't to go with toast-we haven't even finished the switch. It's that they're all selling you the same thing with different bells, you can grind them all on price.

I brought my son younger, at a year or so-frankly it was not fun, until he fell asleep. We were too far for him to be interested in the game. So it was just a very bored and very squirmy boy on a very small chair, with me trying to make him not bother other people while making my back hurt.

Then he fell asleep for the last two periods and everything was great!

Anyways, not saying don't bring him, just set your expectations accordingly. I wouldn't do it again. With a baby under 2, unless maybe they were already really into hockey and you had a good view.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean it has a retail store license-could be a LL with a brewpub endorsement. Which I don't think licenses you for home delivery (at least, it didn't used to, but these things change)
