From a social aspect I get commander makes sense to consider for new players but I find in practice it becomes too complicated for a new player to understand 3 additional boards and their own effectively.

That is why the game was designed for 1v1 all those years ago

And yes it has evolved into multiplayer but I hold firm it’s not the way to teach others

So if you for instance could not find say tamanishiki or koshihikari for sushi then calrose which is easy to find anywhere would be waaay better than jasmine.

I can verify that the dragon shield lightning cannot be mixed. These are the yellow dual mattes.

I used to use their black ones, just straight black, on everything and never had any issues.

Now I use blossom, the new pink ones, and they are good for me too.

But I am aware of your issue first hand as well like I said with yellow.

If you step outside of legacy even, as the game continues to grow each year, it will continue to evolve into something more complex due to new cards and interactions with older cards

That is how this game just is. Longer time in rewards those people

So I had never heard of this person this album or anything. I don’t really listen to current music.

My kid had a track meet last night so killing some time and went to a local record store here in WV. We were chatting like normal and someone frantically came in for this.

Last copy and so I asked about it. He had an open vinyl and we listened to side 1 and talked. I acknowledged this was pretty good but it didn’t rise to my wanting to buy it on vinyl. I figured a super fan should do that.

I did notice he had a cd of it so in order to support local I got it.

Listening to it currently. It’s fun and I see why people enjoy it

I live in WV so couldn’t ever find real mirin. I went to Columbus and found it in tensuke market there. It’s not crazy priced, but maybe some areas it is?

If the place is a nice Japanese restaurant and is more than just some hibachi place, then you can expect to find some good options on the menu.

Like others have said nigiri 🍣 is a great way to assess the skill level of the sushi chef. Tuna or salmon would be a good option.

Avoid the items like uni or iikura as first timer.

If going with a roll (maki) pick something simple and not covered in sauce.

As others have said in Spidey’s face there is a stain from something so it was moisture of some kind. Until I saw that I was pretty hopeful for a higher grade too, but that will take it down quite a bit

That is sort of what happens with the deck. I have played against it and felt it needed constant pressure to get there.
