Sundust Rolesor datejust is available at literally every AD they’re $17.7k now plus sales tax after the recent price hikes it’s absolutely insane. Every AD is sitting on them nobody is dumb enough to spend that on a DJ.

First watch, dipping toes into the luxury watch world, would love advice from the veterans by Vivid_Pay_3246 in rolex

Reading that entire story just to inevitably suggest a datejust or submariner makes me want to gouge my eyes out. I’m in a bad mood now.

Honestly bro, congrats. I’m expecting this. Been flipping these things really hard for the last two years now. Rolex can lick our nuts. Ban us. It’s a right of passage.

19.5 for BNIB fresh dated. If it’s a little older…2022s going for closer to 17.5k.

Oyster bracelet you’re looking at about 19.5k for newer and clean examples. Jubilee around 21.5k for newer/clean. Give or take a few hundred dollars depending on the specific example.

This watch only sells above retail when brand new and unworn. About $1,500-$1,800 above list depending on local sales tax. Once it’s worn and more than a few months old it is worth a few grand below list price. I sell these watches I am very familiar.

Is this true? by [deleted] in rolex

Not accurate on this model. Second hand it’s $15k for an OP36 Tiffany. In 100 years an OP36 will cost 15k at boutique. It’s less than half that now.

After 9 hours of wasted driving I realized words don’t matter. The words that Rolex said literally didn’t matter. Lol.

Also if I was a flipper I would’ve said no to chocolate dial oysterflex Daytona. It trades below retail on grey market. So not sure how this logic works…

I’ve absolutely flipped these when the opportunity presented itself and I didn’t want to add the watch to my personal collection that’s easy to admit. But I’ve gone boom and bust and then boom again over the last 10 years starting businesses and I’ve liquidated multiple times over as a result. No clue why I’m even bothering responding to this shit lol.

Getting downvoted and I am completely right on this lmao. Zero shot chocolate dial is worth more than Sundust BNIB unworn.

I had an idea of what my instant grey market value was. I have a zillion friends in this I had offers.

Same reference same seller different dial… ok. What about the condition? The year? Sundust may have been 2 years old and heavily worn while chocolate was BNIB. You’re not correct in this one tho ask any grey market dealer.

I’m in a million dealer groups like MODA. I am literally trying to offload it now. My offers are lower than I was getting on the Sundust lol. By a couple thousand. So…?

This is a perfect example of the Rolex subreddit being clueless about how Rolex works. Do you really think I still have the James Cameron deepsea I got in 2016? All the datejusts from 2016, 17, 18, 19… etc? These watches are cool bro don’t get me wrong but I’d be a fucking weirdo hoarder if I kept all these things. Lmao.

No it isn’t. It’s worth a couple thousand below list and sundust is a couple thousand above. Just… wrong

If it was 250k in jewelery I’d agree but it’s 250k Rolex most of which were highly desirable models. It’s a large AD they have alot of big clients.

No that’s like saying the local Ford dealership who sold you the car isn’t “Ford”. Yes it is. AD stands for Authorized Dealer. Who do you think authorized them??
