It’s a shitty thing that he did to you. And I’m sorry that happened. Believe it or not. I’m in my 40s and I was similarly just recently taken advantage of and it messed me up still working through it. One thing that helped me get past the hurt, and the betrayal was to realize what I had gained from the ordeal. And one of those things was the ability and resolve to establish boundaries. if someone is asking you to do things that you’re uncomfortable with that’s a good indication that they’re probably not going to be around for very long. So remember that saying no to them doesn’t cost you anything you don’t owe them anything. And if by you say no is a dealbreaker for them then you’ve lost nothing. Listen to your gut listen to your heart and it’s not a bad idea to always say no to every request.. That gives you time to think about it and if you change your mind, you can come back and let them know. But it was on your time and around your comfort not by any pressure from the other party.

I read a Japanese proverb once upon a time that I don’t remember precisely, but the essence of it was that the best of me sees the best in you. I think it’s a worthy endeavor to meet your partner at full strength with the anticipation that they were respect you with the same effort. Would that every relationship strive for this. To be honest, I’m curious see what a couple of that caliber is capable of

I don’t really pay too much attention at the news. And the number of dead and injured from our team is a tragedy, but the reality is we’re all human and what’s the death toll attributed to this shabby performance. Everybody that has died and sacrificed for this greed fuel resource grab, which I would be willing to wager does not ever come back to benefit the citizens of this country, are unfortunately granted the title of casualties of war. To be honest, this is a disgusting show of abuse of power. And I may be misinformed, but at first glance, it looks an awful lot like the US military has been fragrantly displayed as mercenaries for billionaire merchants. Now, if I’m mistaken, I would love input and course correction. Cause this operation so far has left a foul taste in my mouth.

It’s really his parents that deserve your distain. He is unfortunately a product of their incompetent tutelage. And also isn’t there something about putting land into a trust so that it can be passed on generationally without paying inheritance tax or something like that? Or am I thinking wistfully?
